  We don't have a chance of getting 4th. Not whilst Moyes sticks to his current tactics atleast. We would stand a chance if he abandoned his love of the traditional 4-4-2 and played a 4-2-3-1 however. Something like:

  Ralf....Evans....Jones....Evra
  .......Carrick....Fletcher
  Januzaj....Rooney....Mata
  ...............RvP
  
  In reality we'll continue to play something like:
  
  .................de Gea
  Rafael.....Evans...Vidic.....Evra
  Valencia..Carrick..Jones..Young
  ..............Rooney
  ....................RvP

  Not so sure myself... think Spurs could nick 4th in the end, but actually, I'm not so sure the top 3 are set anyway... could see Arsenal dropping down and Liverpool pushing on... so could be between Arsenal and Spurs for 4th - although the goal difference for Spurs is a bugger.

  I think top four is out of Liverpool, Everton and Spurs on current form. liverpool must be favourites and cant see United making europe this season with the way they playing ;)

  The top four is gunning up to end on a high this yearhas teams are improving. Would think so that Liverpool would end up fourth but the way tottenham are playing it could be hard. Everton are doing well but need more slightly improvement in the big matches where they losepoints

  The trouble with playing 4-2-3-1 is that you're relying pretty much solely on your full-backs for width. Not sure Evra can be motoring up and down the touchline for 90 mins these days and Moyes doesn't seem overly keen on Rafael.
  
  Mata will go on to be a great signing I'm sure but right now he doesn't fit particularly well with the players that are there.

  Anyone can lose 2 in a row and drop 2 places, honestly arsenal arent safe, they lose tonight and spurs and liverpool win, theyve both closed 6 points on arsenal in a week!
  
  one more slip up and they could be caught and dragged into it,
  
  i think the top two man city and chelsea are a given, and then theres 2 spots
  
  arsenal always get it imo and so will liverpool
  
  its gunna be the same season again for spurs unless they play better football and get a result at anfield. spurs have chelsea liverpool away and arsenal at home as their only 'big' teams left
  
  liverpool have spurs city chelsea at home and united away
  
  whatever the outcome, its going to be close

  liverpool will take the 4th spot, everton have already started to fall behind and man utd keep on getting stupid results which they should be winning. liverpool are already close to the top three of arsenal man city and chelsea and have a lot of time to prepare for games as they are not in europe but they are not strong enough to beat chelsea or man city in the premier league so they will grab 4th

  Partially agree on Evra, that's why we needed to get a LB in and nearly got Coentrao in the summer, but I think he'd be fine in rotation with Buttner (why did Moyes freeze Fabio out). Rafael is great but for some reason his crossing has been abysmal the last few months, not too sure what is going on there.
  
  It's simply the best formation we can field for the squad we have, it needs to happen. But it won't.

  Let's face it, the top 4 is quite unrealistic for United at present, it would take a big slip up from Liverpool which I don't see happening. Moyes should concentrate solely on the Champions League, and give it his best shot. Right now, I think United have a better chance of winning the CL that they do finishing in the top 4. United will beat Olympikaos I presume, if they manage to get a favourable draw like Dortmund who have a lot of injuries and aren't playing very well, they could easily end up in a CL semi-final, and as Chelsea proved 2 years ago, anything can happen from there. Of course winning the CL is very unrealistic even amongst the most optimistic United fans, but they're in it. Moyes must avoid the Europa League at all costs. No matter where he finishes in the league, at least next season he can concentrate solely on achieving top 4 and challenging for the title.

  Liverpool are pretty much flying at home and have to welcome both city & chelsea to Anfield. These 2 look like being huge games now they are only 4pts behind chelsea. Its gonna be tight but I expect them to do it. And I am a city fan...
