  The old people in charge of the biggest footballing contest are making some new strict rules banning any video content of goals/saves/bad misses/dives/more dives/even more dives etc because of copyright issues.
  
  
  
  Your favourite moments might never be recaptured again (I almost sounded like the start to some shitty advert).
  
  You might miss out on the next Suarez bite now.
  
  There probably be a few bypassings of this rule.

  Don't worry Phil, I doubt they'll be banning actual TV cameras.
  
  Possibly a bit OTT but with the rights worth so many billions you can kind of see why the Premier League are so protective.

  How do they actually plan on enforcing this though? Surely people will just continue to film videos and make vines of the premier league... They can't like, hire a team to constantly scour the internet and look for them and request that they are removed. Can they? lol.

  They can certainly try. Look at the music industry and the film & tv industry. They hire people specifically for the above purpose. Their job is to sit their on youtube or google just searching any terms that might link to a copyrighted piece of work and then request it be banned.
  
  If in their mind they can make a few more million (at least) from selling people highlights that would normally be on youtube. Then hiring even 5 people at £15k each or something to scour the internet is worthwhile.
  
  It's a shame that all this 'internet control' is starting to get very out of hand.

  It's because The Sun paid whatever ridiculous amount to be able to show clips of goals the minute after a goal is scored.
  The Sun is now regretting that they didn't just hire several sports reporter with a recording device and Vine account, and kicking up a fuss about it.
  
  Doubt it if people will stop doing it and what sort of punishment would be handed out - a ban on using your mobile. Although that would be a good idea for some people...

  I think Fifa done a similar thing during the World Cup. They went after news sites who had posted vines on Twitter and they were forced to remove them or have their account suspended.
