The sad story behind big-dicked meme dude

I’m pretty sure we’ve all seen the text prank at some point involving that huge black guy with the enormous dong. I know I have! It appears that the recent coronavirus outbreak has propelled people to start using his image again which is when Vice decided to do some digging and find out who this guy actually is. Here’s the pic of him below. I’m using the censored version because it turns out the story is actually pretty sad, and I don’t want to be a disrespectful prick and show his naked image. 

 

It turns out that the guy’s name was Wardy Joubert III AKA ‘Wood’ and he was a porn star. He had once shot a few wanking videos for Pantheon Productions and the owner of the porn site got in touch with Vice after seeing the article they wrote about Wardy. Here’s what the sites owner Walter Smith had to say: 
 

I’m sorry to hear that Wood’s image has been used in such a way. It’s quite shameful. Unfortunately, Wood passed away several years ago. Our images from him are from 2011.

Well that makes me feel fucking terrible for ever laughing at his image. After some more digging, Vice discovered that Wardy was born on 30th August 1971, in San Francisco and was a father-of-two. His nickname ‘Wood’ also had nothing to do with his porn career. It was a nickname he’d had since childhood when he would play baseball with his friends. Vice also found out that he was a star football player in high school, and even played for the New Orleans Saints for a short time.



 
Wardy worked as a nightclub doorman but in his free time he would help out at homeless shelters. He was also known for his big bear hugs and infectious laugh, and was a talented voice impersonator. 


 
Wardy was discovered by a porn producer when he used to go to sex parties, where he would be a ‘bull’ and basically bang women in front of their willing cuckold husbands. It was at one of those parties where Wardy was asked if he’d consider doing porn. At the time he was behind on his mortgage payments so he took some porn jobs to save his house.  

He later met his girlfriend Heather Alegria and the pair went on to have two children. Wardy was just 45-years-old when he died of a heart attack whilst cuddled up in bed with Heather. It came as a huge shock to his family and friends because, according to Alegria, he was “healthy as a horse and didn’t do drugs” she did say that he dabbled in steroids, which eventually made his heart become enlarged and “blew up on him”. A GoFundMe page was set up in 2016 to help with his funeral costs and the messages show Wardy as a sweet and funny guy who will be sorely missed.
