This 911SC took part in the 1978 East African Safari Rally.



Could have won it too, but suspension damage from hitting a rock a few hours before the end meant it had to settle for 2nd.

And aside from the springs it was pretty much stock. The only other modifications being those extra headlights and the all-important Martini livery.
