  I cant access they type box either, its a fucking joke, I've tried lots of different things and none have worked, its juts not visible for me at all!!
  
  P.S apparently its underneath the chat now

  So now I find that I can post chat in Chrome, but not Firefox. I prefer Firefox because it deals with Adobe Flash better. Wonder what I can do.

  Same here Derryman, the thing is if you make the window smaller and expand it sideways you can see the type box and the emoji icon but as soon as you release the mouse button they hide themselves again, Admins need to find the issue within the script they have used until then we are stack!!

  Ironically, the change is actually better for me. I have not been able to scroll the chat box for 9 months now using Chrome, since a major website revision was done. The tiny chat box window only held a few messages before and once they were gone, I could not scroll down to see them any more.
  
  With this new design, twice the number of messages are displayed, so I can see much more of the chat now than before. Scrolling still does not work for me though, even with this new version. The typing box is visible and I have posted a message to ensure that I do not have a problem, which i don't. Pop-up boxes are still very irritating though and serve very little purpose in my opinion.

  derryman mentioned that he found Firefox better at handling Flash Player than Chrome. Well the exact opposite is true for me. Firefox will not play any video and cannot even play the live streams, so is useless to me for this site. Ironically, I can scroll the chat with that browser but can do nothing else!
  
  Chrome is the only browser which plays the streams and videos well for me which is why it is the only browser I normally use. Just goes to show how the different platforms and operating systems that people use have a major effect on how new scripts work for them when they go live. Must make testing system changes a major nightmare.

  yep that is true.On Microsoft the stream live is crap but on I.E it is much better

  GrandDuke is right, we all have very different experiences with browsers that should be standardised. Now for me, the chat box takes up half the screen; actually, both the channel list and chat box are very wide, so that the actual screen is very small. This is going to take some tweaking. Try as I might, reading all the web advice, I can't get Chrome to play Flash except on my brand new machine.

  derryman is right that the chat box is now much wider for comments. That must be part of the reason why I can read so much more of them now. The other reason, which is a big benefit, is that part of the screen is no longer taken up by those stupid adverts for videos that used to keep appearing above the typing box. Getting rid of that has allowed more space.

  I used to find derryman that even the old window was very small. The new one seems even smaller still. However, collapsing the channel list does make a big improvement to this. If there is a show or video that I really want to watch though, I always go full screen which is a shame if I am also following the chat.
  
  Om's late, late show last night was an example where I wanted full screen but also wanted to join in the chat which became manic at that time. Recording the show was the answer so I could contribute to the chat and look forward to watching the performance full screen later.
