  Anyone on here who owns a ps3 or just anyone who reads gaming magazines alot know if they plan on making a game following on from God Of War 3?
  They said it was supposed to be the last but there was a way they left it open at the end.

  As far as I'm aware that's all they're planning to make, I've not heard any news of a new one. But it's such a popular franchise, whether its now or in ten years, they'll bring it back, product recognition is vital in todays market.

  Yeah i didn`t think they were making another one either and i`m sure i heard it said that that was the last, just that the ending looked like it was being left open to continue from, although that was probably there just incase they changed their mind.

  Interesting news for God Of War fans (or possibly bad news if you don`t like the series) they have just recently announced they are making a fourth game, God Of War Ascension, here is the teaser they released
  
  not the most revealing teaser, my best guess is that it is a prequel, but as it doesn`t exactly give anything away though.
  Can`t imagine it will be released for while, GOW 3 was delayed about 5 times so can`t imagine this will be any different.

  I'm guessing if the 3rd one makes enough money there will be a 4th. Probably not by the original team though.

  Well the one they've just announced would be the 4th (if you count the psp released God Of War games it is the 6th game)
  They did originally say that God Of War 3 was going to be the last (i imagine the very big sales of that went some way towards convincing them to do another)
  
  I will definately buy the next one when it's out (i expect many delays)
  just hope that they have got a good story for it, just like the others.

  i read a mag the other day and it says that theres not going to be another but then they keep mentioning with how it ended and making you beleive that eventually there could be another so you never know, personally i think they will make another but call it something different just to say they wasnt going to but then did haha
