  The highly anticipated trailer for Robert Pattinson’s The Batman has just landed and people are going bonkers for it. Director Matt Reeves debuted a first look at Pattinson’s take on the Dark Knight.
  
  
   
  The story takes place roughly two years into Bruce Wayne becoming Batman, so he’s still pretty much just vigilante at the point. Matt Reeves confirmed that ‘Batman isn’t Batman yet’ during this time.
  
   
  
  The trailer also introduces us to a few other characters, including Zoe Kravitz as Catwoman, Andy Serkis as Alfred, Paul Dano as The Riddler and Colin Farrel as The Penguin. Matt Reeves said that most of these characters are still coming into themselves; Selina Kyle is not Catwoman yet, and The Riddler and The Penguin are only just beginning their life of crime.   Wowzers. That was pretty insane tbf. I like Pattison’s slightly more disheveled take on Batman. Apparently lots of fans who saw the trailer are now wanting to see Batman face Joaquin Phoenix’s Joker. That would be pretty cool actually.  
  
  The Batman hits cinemas in 2021.

  I actually gasped out loud when that beatdown happened. Really looking forward to this.

  This is the latest trailer for The Batman. Zoe Kravitz looks PHENOMENAL as Selina Kyle, and it looks like her origin will be a big part of the plot in relation to Bruce's origin. I loved when Bruce said Selina don't throw your life away and she replied with don't worry honey, I've got nine of them. The cinematography looks perfect for Gotham. It's always dark, gloomy and raining. The approach they appear to be taking in terms of tone, looks amazing too. I love how it feels like a psychological thriller in the mould of Seven. Dano is going to be fantastic as The Riddler, and Farrell will be a great Penguin.

  Saw this trailer when I went to see The Matrix and it got me pretty excited for March. May go and see it in 4D if they’re doing it that way. Here’s the latest trailer.

  I won’t be watching this trailer as I’ve seen far too much already but have at it if you don’t mind seeing some Riddler scenes pre-release.
