Some people are never happy, are they?

They'll moan to anyone who'll listen about how the FA Cup just isn't what it used to be, but when an overweight 46 year-old sub keeper tries to bring the romance back with a touch of pie-based spot fixing he's out on his ear quicker than you can say Fray Bentos.

In years to come we'll look back on that time Sun Bets muscled in on the Sutton story, offered 8/1 on Shaw eating a pie during the game and then persuaded him to actually do it with the same fondness we remember Ronnie Radford and Wimbledon in '88.

It's the #MagicOfTheCup, it's #banter, it's these images of Shaw and his pie photoshopped in to famous movie scenes...

Morrisons approach Sutton United goalkeeper Wayne Shaw to become official 'pie-taster'

Supermarket chain Morrisons has made a bid for Sutton United reserve goalkeeper Wayne Shaw after Monday night’s FA Cup pie-eating antics.
The supermarket is keen to add the 23-stone goalkeeper to their ‘Pie Tasting’ team and has made quite the offer: a year’s worth of pies.
Should Shaw accept, it’s expected the 46-year-old will join Morrisons on a one-year deal, joining the backroom staff as a Pie Taster for the store’s new range.

Morrisons’ Chief Pie Buyer Tessa Callaghan said: “We’re always looking for the best talent to taste our pies and make sure they hit the back of the net.
“Wayne’s performance Monday night sets him apart as one of the country’s most famous pie connoisseurs.
