Babestation have had a lot of flack from us in the past with plenty thrown their way by me too. But the recent events have shown that they were not the main problem after all. Another company in the shadows which enables the communications and feeds between the UK and Thailand seems to be one that Amy complains about the most now. Poorly performing equipment and late payments seem to be crux of her frustration and she levels the blame for that in their direction. Which makes me wonder how they are being remunerated now for any hours they work and in particular for the calls and pervcam visits that are now made.
Pervcam is a waste of time for me and phone calls are now a lottery too. The Freephone number has not worked for months and I feel sure never will again for this channel. That is not a technical malfunction but sabotage I think. The menu on a regular call goes haywire quite often and getting put through to a UK girl or even one speaking German are all things I have experienced as well as the second level menu becoming German as well. Having done everything possible to piss callers off already they even have a plan for those persistent enough to keep trying again and again. After spending a few minutes in conversation the line goes dead and a woman says that you have run out of credits, even when you have hundreds of credits still left unspent! This is what really upsets Amy as she has heard it all a thousand times from disgruntled customers who often blame the girls at their lost credits. No company can be that incompetent I feel which is why I think there has been an ulterior motive to piss so many people off they stop watching the channel any more and turn to the UK girls instead. This has now been achieved now as shows are so sporadic in duration and timing and nearly always just consisting of Amy and Daisy plus the odd extra girl from time to time, even the most committed are losing the will to keep supporting the channel. This can be seen in the forum too where commentators are now much fewer in number than earlier in the year.
But I wonder if the business relationship has deteriorated that far now, whether they are getting anything at all from the little business they do get, and if not how can they even eat?
By the sound of things, if debts were paid then the shows could restart with a number of girls willing to come back and do shows once more. But the longer they wait, the more likely it will be that they will have found other ways of supporting themselves. They cannot wait forever. Daisy has been doing these shows since she was in university and never progressed to finding another job when she left. So for her, the shows are all she knows and is therefore in a similar emotional trap to Amy I think which is why it is the two of them desperately trying to hang in there for as long as possible. But blocking any videos is the worst thing they could do at this time and may sadly hasten the end.
