  I feel incredibly sad right now as I feel like I am watching a channel resuscitated from death by the sterling efforts of Amy but now slowly suffocating before my eyes, suffering a slow, lingering and painful death. I have a heavy heart now whenever I watch it instead of the joy it usually brings.
  
  Daisy was very tired this morning as she worked yesterday and has to tomorrow as well. Lack of sleep and worry must be taking its toll on her finally when previously she looked indestructible. She is critical to the continuation of the channel as the money she brings in when fresh and happy is critical to its survival. No-one wants to work the night shift any more knowing that they are unlikely to get paid for it, or if they do, not the full amount due. However, this is the peak time for sexy shows and business potential is at its greatest, so Amy is carrying that torch alone doing all night vigils lonely and with little business. She is so tired now that she sleeps or has the camera zoomed in to a random part of her body so she can probably sleep of sorts.
  
  Maya has been given a rest today having done successive shows for quite a few days now. Either that or she has withdrawn her labour too, who knows. I know that philmo1 has said that Nadia is definitely coming in tomorrow morning but in the current climate I don't think that I can be as confident. Naomi manned a stream this morning too and got some calls which was good but Daisy's calls and cams dried up mid-morning which meant she slowly ran out of energy.

  The biggest problem facing the channel right now is not particularly the irregularity of shifts, as the morning shift seems to go ahead most days. It is that there are too few girls for the shows to be sustainable. Not only are the same girls having to do shows day after day with hardly a day's rest, they are emptying the resources of their particular fans. If your favourite girl was on two or three times a week, you might catch her on one or two of her shifts and may call her on one or both of them. But if she was on every single day, your money may well have  run out by day 2 or 3, meaning her shows from day 4 to 7 that week will be ones where you can only watch. 
  
  If that happens every week, soon you won't be able to call for as long as before unless your budget and financial resources are substantial which only applies to a few dedicated fans. So how will they generate enough money to even pay the girls for the shows they currently do, let alone to pay the debts of those shifts still unpaid which has to be done to get the other girls back to the show, which is essential if the shows are to continue. Unless a substantial investment was being injected into the business by someone, presumably though not necessarily from the UK, it just does not seem a viable concern despite Amy's admirable desperation to see it continue. I feel so helpless in this situation to do anything the change the dynamic which is similar to visiting a dying friend in intensive care, knowing the end is near but not sure just when the inevitable will happen. No wonder I feel sad.

  Sadly I feel the same as you philmo1. I feel now as though every show may be the last one ever as I cannot see anyway for them to escape their fall into the abyss. I admire them and feel sorry for them at the same time, scrabbling at the sides trying to prevent their descent into oblivion but it does seem a hopeless cause. I thought that if Nadia was coming in tomorrow there may be just a glimmer of hope that something might have been resolved but you have just dashed even that hope now.
  
  I quote here what you said in your post last night '- but I am pretty sure Nadia's absence is pay related - so now she is bound to be on tomorrow.' but clearly this is not what you meant to say.

  I have a load of free minutes that I want to give to the channel before they close as they must get paid something for them I am sure but having only logged the problem about my inability to use them on Friday, I cannot see there being any way that this will be resolved in time to do that now. What a waste as I have no interest in calling any girl on any channel with them otherwise.

  I think that talking to Amy will get you a lot further than talking to Daisy. The latter is very sweet but very smart too and she is always very careful to never say too much about what goes on behind the scenes. That is one reason why she is a survivor when so many others have fallen by the wayside over the years for various reasons. I have asked her and she has just said I don't know baby which is th perfect diplomatic answer. Only Amy can talk from the hip without having to worry about any potential consequences.

  Although Daisy is smart, there are few who are smarter than Amy. I went on her chat this evening which was a rather brave thing to do, especially as I left her a comment. I half expected to be blocked maybe after a caustic comment first but instead she dropped a bombshell about me. I was stunned but only half surprised that she had worked it out. Anyone who was on her chat at the time would know what she said. I did not deny it but instead congratulated her on solving my identity.
  
  I thought that now that things were out in the open and the shows are in their final throes, I would ask her about calling her. To my surprise, she said "do it if you want to dear" which is almost affectionate!! So before the final curtain closes it seems that we will ahve time to make our peace after all this time.

  Amy has given a sensational show tonight and earned a ton of money which was great to see. She must have gathered at least 750 credits in vibratoy buzzes with other tips taking her to about a 1000 credits all packed into a 2 hour hot show seeing her work 30 minutes over time. Add to that plenty of pervcam and at least two long phone calls and it was a great success.
  
  Amazingly under the current circumstances, she says that Daisy and Alice (YES) will be joining her for the afternoon show and I have promised to phone Amy then to talk about things. I did not went to get in the way of potential business tonight and the way things turned out that was a great decision. Better to talk seriously when things are a lot quieter and they are glad of the business.

  That is fantastic news if it bears fruit. But I wonder how the financial situation has been resolved, if indeed it has. My understanding is that Ice wants to come back also if wages were paid and Minny probably would as well, although now she has another (part-time?) job that would not necessarily be a given. So things could slowly return to normal if finances have suddenly improved but how this could have happened I am not sure.
  
  The morning show finished around 9-45am for Nadia and 10-15am for Naomi today so that is still far from normal. I didn't see Naomi get any business at all since I joined the show near the end but Nadia was certainly getting plenty of phone calls when she finished. So not quite sure why the early finish. Naomi finishing early fitted the given reason of packing in when business is slow but Nadia's departure didn't fit that scenario. Maybe there is money available now but not enough to pay for a full shift for multiple girls. So with 3 girls promised for the later shift it will be interesting to see at what time they start and finish as that may also be impacted by the amount of money available.

  Did Nadia give you philmo1 any explanation for her recent absence and period of being incommunicado?  It did seem a bit out of character for her to ignore you as well as calls from the other girls. It would be enlightening to know how the issue was resolved.

  I wonder if the girls are aware of the clocks going back in the UK this morning? Perhaps they think they have worked later than they actually have. If not, it does seem a very early start and finish to the morning shift.
