  It is a total waste of time to work at 4am as calls will be very few and far between. Far better that they work from 6am instead and ensure that they always work until at least midnight and maybe even am 1am on occasion. With so few girls now available to work, they should consider reducing shows to core hours. 
  
  Working from 6am to 3pm on the first shift and then from 3pm to midnight would be 2 hours less wages to pay if money is tight but would hardly affect their money taken. Maybe even working shorter hours would be an idea. That would be a compromise on working as usual but doing smarter hours.

  Things certainly seem to have been very erratic recently, none more so than yesterday, so thanks for the news philmo1 that another big meeting is taking place. But seeing as we didn't have a show at all for almost the whole of yesterday, I wonder why they didn't suspend today's show so Nadia and Kitty can join in the meeting. Even having two girls on at once is unusual nowadays so at least one of them could have been spared i would have thought.
  
  I hope that good news results from this meeting or things could turn very bad very quickly. Fingers crossed.

  Philmo, thanks for the info but I would suggest that if another big meeting is taking place it cannot be good news. The only way it could be good news is if we get a regular schedule because things cannot continue as they are. However, I think it is more likely to be bad news rather than good. With regards to the current totally haphazard scheduling both Nadia and Kitty were on at 6.00am this morning so I do not know what time they started.

  Philmo1 said in an earlier post that Nadia had expected to be able to work the hours that she wanted but was told yesterday by Amy that she wanted her in at 4am as per the old normal shifts. I agree with the principle of organising set shifts once again so customers can plan their lives around shows once more to avoid the haphazard free for all we have been getting lately, but it is stupid to force working from 4am when a very small percentage of their already dwindling audience will be watching. 
  
  Starting later with regular shifts is the way forward. That is if we have any shows to watch after this meeting.

  I cannot help but feel a sense of foreboding though that the studio is now empty 45 minutes after the afternoon shift should have started, if they wanted to introduce the same regular shift pattern again. It might be that the girls from that shift are still in the meeting but I wonder just how much there can be to discuss. They are just cogs in the machine so I doubt that they will have much say in the final decision that is made so maybe this is just for them to express their views on a decision that has already been made. 
  
  But the longer the studio remains empty the worse my feeling gets. The problem is that we will not get told anything, even if the station closed down in effect an hour ago. Official communication has always been non-existent and nothing has changed since.

  I agree with you. The decision lies purely with Amy and whatever she says goes. I wasn't aware what time the morning show finished but there have been no girls on since I came back online about 50 minutes ago.

  I left the house about 12-15pm and Kitty was still on. I returned about 1pm and the couch was empty. So it finished somewhere around the normal time. 
  
  I did write a lot more in this post originally about how it looked as though the channel might have shut down but just before I posted it, I checked the channel for one last time only to see that Maya has appeared, 2 hours later than expected. So maybe there is a little hope still. I hope so anyway.

  Thanks philmo1. You are our window into their world at the moment, so anything that you can glean is much appreciated. I will ring Maya soon but she is too far down the pecking order to know much about what is happening so I won't be asking her, especially as Amy is sat nearby and I have already been blocked today. If anyone is on good terms with Amy she is the one to ask as she will know more than anyone I am sure but I feel that I would not be best person to broach the subject on a call. You used to be very fond of Amy philmo1, do you think that you could get some info from her on a call? Nadia might be more forthcoming but may not have as much inside knowledge as Amy.

  Maya did repeat what others have said about the short shifts that they seem to be doing a lot lately by saying that they finish early if people do not call. Lots of people watch but very few call.
  
  Not helped though by the technical problems still plaguing the phone system. Yet again I tried twice to ring using the Freephone number but on each occasion it started to ring about 20 times but no-one answers. Then it stops and just silence. Third time I had to use a different number which soon ate into my credits which kept the call shorter than both of us would have liked. What use are free minutes if they cannot be used?
