  Thanks Covkid. I will certainly express my disappointment at their decision to close down the channel which has did fine for many years until they took it over and mismanaged it. 
  
  I will also express my disapproval at their decision to only give the girls who were working there a few hours notice that they were to sacked later that day with immediate effect. No explanation seems to have been given to them either as they seemed completely in the dark about it. I wonder if all the girls who were at home yesterday just got an email telling them to not bother coming in to work again or whether they got at least the courtesy of a phone call.

  Last night I managed to ring all three presenters to wish them well but on two of those occasions the technical system failed miserably and I was cut off in mid conversation. The first time all I got was silence and on the second a voice said that your call has ended as you have run out of credit. After both calls I had many hundreds of credits still in my account so there was no reason whatsoever for me to be cut-off. Made much worse as it was the last conversation I will ever have with them too.

  I do wonder if Babestation deliberately "hacked the phone system yesterday to reduce the number of calls so they could use "they were not getting many calls" excuse as a reason for closing the station. One of the problems also is that so many girls are "now employed" by Babestation the Asian Girls were so far down the list of girls they were impossible to find.

  Yes I noticed especially at night they were the very last channel sometimes on the third line at times. Newbies who find this website and browse through the girls as they are arranged would find what they wanted or have got bored of trying long before they got to the Thai girls. It is a wonder they got any new callers at all as it was set up. Only by saving them in my Favourites could I avoid this being a constant issue. But if do not want to log in this feature is unavailable to you and I have often had to suffer searching for them when not logged in.

  If you stop being a VIP do you lose your "free" minutes? My VIP was due for renewal today and I decided to do it for this month to get the free minutes I would have accumulated yesterday and today. However, if I do not use these minutes which will now be unlikely will I lose them when I cancel my VIP next month?

  I think that you keep them but am not completely sure about that as things may have changed since I last toggled between VIP and non VIP when I think that I did keep them.
  
  But what use are free minutes? If you read my posts from last night, you will see that I tried to use them up last night but despite trying 7 times, I never got put through. After putting in my pin number I just got silence for about 20 seconds before it started to ring which continued for about 30 seconds but the phone never rang in the studio so was not answered. After that it was just silence. So much use the free minutes were then and I have no intention of ever phoning anyone else from another channel to use up my remaining minutes.

  I know this does not appeal to many viewers but I don't think this has anything to do with the decision to close the channel. In fact some of the Ladyboys were more popular than the NBF's. This decision has been coming for a while and In fact can even be traced back to when Babestation took over the channel. There was an outcry from the UK based girls about the Asian Girls only charging 10 credits per minute for pervecam and this is why it was increased. Also now, some of the girls here were more popular than those in the UK and getting more calls, but Babestation UK need to look at why they need so many girls. I think that this has been a very easy decision for the UK decision makers to make because they would much rather upset the Thai girls than the UK ones. Also, the lack of investment was obvious. You just had to look at the state of the telephones, covered in loads of sellotape.

  
  There are probably a lot of factors that has brought us to this point. I think it is absolutely true that BS never committed resources to make Asian Connections a success. Good point about the phones, considering the money they invest in studios and sets in the UK, and after all these years we've begged for it they couldn't manage to get a simple microphone into the hands of the girls. That one really rankles because shout-outs and sexy invitations are basic tools for luring customers. This was probably in the cards from the moment BS took over. It has to be said that this was a double-edge sword. The one thing BS did was clean up the technical glitches that plagued the channel. They introduced the pervcam, which can be seen as good or bad, but it did change the nature of the channel. The Thai channel could have limped along indefinitely with all of the glitches as an independent entity, but couldn't make the revenue quotas that BS wanted. For that I think we can blame BS for ignoring and even deliberately handicapping the channel, certain presenters who for whatever reason began to be hostile to customers, and customers who wanted a free ride or were phobic of ladyboys, or overly concerned about language ability, etc. But in a bigger sense this may have something to do with the general demise of people talking to each other, human to human. It seems the thrill of talking with them and getting to know them and learning about their lives has been lost.

  I also think one of the biggest factors was not being on Sky TV after 10.00pm. A bit of a forerunner of this channel was Masti Girls which was mainly on TV during the day but when they did irregular night shows, maybe once a month, business went through the roof.This was another channel that the "usual Babestation" girls of the day, some are still there now, objected to even though Masti Girls was based in the UK. I do believe that many people want to speak to girls of different nationalities and different faiths rather than the "standard" girl (I could write another term here ☺) you get on most of the other channels.

  Along those lines, the Thai videos quite regularly had the highest view numbers. Why that interest could never be capitalised upon is something to think about.

  All questions for Babestation UK Management but we will never get the answers. Many of the girls there are all too powerful as well. I am not suggesting that the Asian Girls Channel are blameless because they certainly are not and I do wonder if things may have been different with a different "head girl".
