  I have just looked up and there are an estimated 1 million Ladyboys in Thailand out of a population of 69 million so the channel has a lot more than the proportion. It also means there must be a lot of girls out there. Perhaps Amy isn't looking hard enough.

  so covkid that makes it 69 times easier to get a girl than a 'K' although to be fair all the 'k's must be adults and fairly young so shall we say 35 million are female of which we want someone between the age of 20 to 35 which does narrow it down a little . say 8 million girls give or take.
  i have no idea what is going on with the shifts. there was lilly and rose on earlier so i went away thinking my viewing was done but then i just happened back and Daisy was here. i nearly missed her.

  Yes, so five girls on today which means at least one of the girls, if not two, who have been on today will be on tomorrow. Tomorrow looks like being Opor, Minny and Naomi plus one of two more from today. Shows that more girls are required urgently.

  I think that one of the issues in finding new girls for the shows is that generally speaking, the population is less forgiving of the sex industry. Most girls would feel to ashamed to even consider it but if they are poor and with no way of finding work, it can be a short term way out for them. However, they risk being dis-owned by their family and friends if they found out such is the stigma attached to it. A bit like coming out as gay in South Korea.
  
  While girls for the show would be 10 a penny in the UK it must be harder there to find any that are suitable, i.e. pretty, young and friendly with a good grasp of spoken English and not overly shy to strip off for strangers. They are also based somewhere in the north in one of the smaller towns I believe but I do not know where. No-one has told me this but this information was posted in these forums a while ago by someone. Being away from the tourist flesh pots of Bangkok and the beach resorts of southern Thailand must also make it harder as girls likely to be willing to flash for money will be likely to be attracted to there rather than staying nearer home.
  
  Not sure why this explains the percentage of ladyboys on the channel which may instead be down to personal selection by the channel manager(ess).

  i think it may be as simple as the 'K' s are just more popular on this channel than the girls. historically anyway. for a long time the girls were straitlaced compared to the other girls on the channel which we all assumed came from above and they were also more straitlaced than the 'k's ( still are ) and lets face it the people who like THAI LADYBOYS have no where else to go ( to my knowledge ) so they have cornered the market.
  so maybe it is just a financial thing that they can make more money with these. maybe that is why girls have been disappearing too, maybe they have targets which could explain daisy's sudden hot shows.

  There is no doubt that having 'K's on the channel (to use your terminology stjohn) does provide a unique service not catered for elsewhere on this website. So there must be a case for having one on every shift but having everyone on the shift a 'K' does rather shut out the vast majority of your potential audience. Daisy is sensational and I believe Om and Ali would be equally mind blowing if they were enticed back to the channel.
  
  Having a fairly equal balance of the two groups would give the ideal best case scenario I think for making money. However, once the channel becomes unbalanced with very few girls the dynamics begin to change and each 'K' will start to earn less per person whilst the girls will become the novelty and attract more per person. Daisy spends most of her shift on the phone and last night worked nearly 45 minutes overtime as she could not get off the phone as call after call rained in, even though she was limited on what she could show being on TV. If the girls they recruit are shy though this may indeed mean that they earn less than a 'K' would who is willing to put on a show for callers. So it may depend on who they recruit rather than specifically whether they are natural girl or not when they make a decision on hiring new staff.

  The "new" Ice has shown and done more already this afternoon in only her third shift than Rose has done in all of her shows so far put together. For the nearly two hours she has been on the web and has been totally topless, whilst when she got a phone call she proved she was a Ladyboy. Along with Lilly she is a very attractive Ladyboy.

  I am not sure if the person who said on the chat that the new Ice is from Japan is correct or not, but if that is the case, I think it is a very encouraging sign that they are starting to look at girls from the Far East. I have made no secret of the fact that I think they have some of the most beautiful women in the world although it is rather ironic that the first one recruited is another ladyboy. Even so, she is a lot more attractive than some performers who have appeared on the channel, girls or ladyboys, mentioning no names. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder so everyone will have their own opinion on that of course.

  For someone so new to the channel, I have to agree that this Ice certainly does not seem to be shy at all. However, it appeared to me that she was keeping her pants on for pervcam for some visitors which did seem at odds with her overall performance on the main camera. I certainly saw no evidence of her flashing anything to a caller either so I must have not been watching at that time.
  
  By comparison, Opor seems to be under orders to not show anything to camera now, as she took some long calls on the web and her pants stayed resolutely in place which is so unlike her. Amy is once again monitoring her shift which may be ensuring that she follows orders. Always puzzles me why there is such an inconsistency from day to day so you never know what to expect.

  Correct the "new" Ice does not show anymore on pervecam than she does on the webshow. I went on pervecam with her and she got her tits out, played a bit with her pants but the pants stayed on and cock in, even though she had shown it to a called earlier. Perhaps this will come in time because she is certainly happy to get her tits out. She is from Japan, and said so herself on her first show but how long she has lived in Thailand is anyone's guess. This afternoon it was also noticeable that when she was on the web and Opor was on tv she was topless, but as soon as Amy came on tv she was ordered to cover up.
  My conspiracy theory is that the other girls are "not allowed to perform" when Amy is on because she wants all of the calls.
