RE: Thai Chat - Caps & Chat

Here is my take. The local authorities crackdown is an old chestnut that almost always proves to be false, though it has happened a few times in the past, and in any case it is fixed by Amy pretty quickly. As long as the proper "taxes" are paid, they've been able to do what they do. This doesn't explain the long periods of censorship that have plagued the channel. RTV has nothing to do with it; ramp is an internet host that runs the sites and the phone/online issues, but not the content. BS controls the Thai channel, and I do believe Amy when she says that one of the bosses in London complained about the show, because that has happened many times in the past. When the awesome web shows of 2017 ended, it was because the bosses in London said no more. Does anyone believe this was intended somehow to increase business, or that in fact it did? Does a policy of no nudity except p-cam make any economic sense, and would you expect it to increase business? I've never seen any evidence that it increased business either on TV or p-cam. The London girls have many built-in advantages, from being native English speakers to night shows to advertising. It seems that any competitive advantage for the Thai channel is intolerable. I guess they are shutting down topless web calls because the BS girls can't do them during the day, though UK girls have 7 hours of night show. I just don't think you can appeal to rationality or sense to explain the treatment of the Thai channel.
