  Partly as a result of this problem, this website is now blocked in Thailand which should help ease the issue. Some girls have gone back to showing more once again but others have stayed in their shell.
  
  There was also concern that if someone wanted to cause trouble they could use the videos to prompt the police to close the channel down and prosecute the local owners and girls for lewd behaviour in a public place. This carries a jail sentence, not just a fine. One man (yes man not girl!) got prosecuted at New Year for celebrating in the street topless! No wonder they are nervous as they are working on the edge continually and only well placed sweeteners are keeping the law at bay.

  Thankyou duke for giving an insight into some of the things going on in Thailand which odviously affect thai chat either directly or indirectly I hope that the situation improves but hasn't this always been the case in Thailand or has something changed

  You are right, it has been similar for a few years now, ever since the military took over the country. They did get raided once and shut down but re-opened again after appropriate payments were made to recompense the authorities for the inconvenience of having to raid them! That is the official line but it sounds more like a bribe to me.

  Pornography is illegal in Thailand. Yet it is a sex Mecca. Think of Pattaya.
  Thai officials can be bought for a price though. In fact pretty much anyone can be bought in Thailand.

  I would presume in that case bucket its just a case of how much you are willing to pay or is there more to it than that  Dukes comment about them having to pay for the inconvenience of being raided really startled me Presumably they could have avoided the raid by paying up beforehand!

  Exactly Tony. To me it sounded like they had got behind with their payments and were raided as a punishment. Only by paying their existing debts and a substantial fine as a lesson to them were they allowed to re-open.
  
  Sounds little different to mobsters running a protection racket. But when it is the police running the racket, you have no choice but to pay or close down. Maybe they have to pay more the sexier the shows to protect them from even worse criminal charges being brought against them. If money was tight then that may explain the tamer shows now.

  Amy had to go to the police station recently to settle affairs. For the umpteenth time.

  Amy is being left to do almost everything on the shows. The bosses are creaming most of the money we pay but doing none of the work. Amy has all the responsibility thrust upon her but no authority to change things for the better. No wonder she is permanently stressed and getting little sleep.

  The shows that she consistently gives are fabulous when you consider all the strain that she is under. Tomorrow she has a meeting with some technicians about setting up a new studio and sorting out new IP addresses and other technical matters. How she finds time to do shows as well is amazing.

  Now girls on the channel are giving her grief as well. Amy sets the schedules and some girls are complaining that she has not given them enough work. Bad enough telling her this but now they have started telling customers too and turning them against Amy. Apparently some negative things have been said about this in the chat when I have not been around.
