  Gents, I think it's time to pack up the tents and go. I am still in shock over today's spicy show with Amy and Ali. One of the saddest hours I've seen, particularly depressing because the two best and most dependable performers were on. For whatever reason, Amy is on the warpath and spent the hour with an angry look, complaining bitterly to Ali about something. She left the set for the last 15 minutes of the hour (and not to do pervcam, which she did not turn on). I can guess it was about Babestation as their unfairness and demands are a constant irritant. But I certainly can't remember her acting this way. Ali just sat there, got one 1-minute call, seemed to tell the guy she wasn't going to show anything, and he hung up. The thing that is so disturbing about all this is that Thai Chat - Asian Connections used to be all about smiles, enjoyment, teasing, and pleasing the customer. The "Land of Smiles," right? The girls never used to resent the customers or act like the customer was putting them out. Now the girls act like asking to see some flesh on a night show hour is way out of line. After today, I doubt I will be watching the 4 am show for a while. Just too painful to watch.

  Thanks for the update derryman on the car crash that the early show seems to have become. Amy may not be well either, so you know how that can make you crabby if things are not going well, which may not help under the current circumstances.

  I wonder if Babestation have pulled the plug on the second studio idea that is supposed to be happening this month? Amy has spent a lot of time planning for this and measuring for a new couch etc. and may have been working on its layout as well.
  
  If she had found out that she had been wasting her time and effort, she would be well hacked off which she seems to be currently.

  If either her local bosses or those in London have decided no more flesh can be shown on the shows, not even when on the web only or on a night show, then a second studio would be a total waste of time and money anyway. What would be the point if all the second girl did, who was not on TV, is to sit there smiling (optional) and fully clothed and would remain that way no matter how long your phone call or how much money you spent.

  It has been said before by me and has been said again by others more recently, it seems that the owners and producers have a death wish for the channel. If they want to kill it completely and turn away all its customers then they are doing a brilliant job.
  
  If they actually do want it to succeed, it is hard to comprehend how they plan to achieve this with the current mood and restrictive rules they have set for the channel.

  The easiest way to establish what is going on is to just ring Amy and ask her. However, that is like saying that the easiest way to test how hot a volcano is would be to jump in it and find out.
  
  I have been burnt before by her breathing fire when I caught her on a bad day, so I have learnt my lesson from that and will try to ring her when she is in a better mood. Mind you, if I start discussing the state of the channel with her when I do ring, it is quite likely that I will turn her good mood into a bad mood very quickly.

  Actually, you might get away with it scot free. As a newbie, she would probably be sweet to you like she was with me on my first call.
  
  She seems to save her most explosive outbursts for her regulars ironically. Ask derryman! Lol.

  As it happens, her mood looks a lot better now and I even posted some comments on the chat without her venting. I may risk a phone call after all.
  
  If you see her throwing her phone across the studio though, then you will know that it is me calling her raising difficult issues!

  Tony recorded a part of this morning's spicy show so you can see what I was talking about - and these were among the happier moments. You can see the one phone call to Ali and get a feeling for what it was like to watch the hour. The thing I regret is the loss of the energy, fun, smiles, tease, crazy shenanigans, just the sense of enjoyment and invitation to the customer to join in the fun. Nothing could be further from that now. And when Amy loses it, I don't think there is much hope. I've always felt that you could just ride out the bad times because an adjustment was around the corner. Maybe that's all it is, but something feels different this time, I wonder how they can build back that fun and trust with customers when even their wunderkind has lost interest. What could BS be doing to them now??

  On the bright side, have you seen Daisy this afternoon. She is a little ray of sunshine as she always is, trying to entice callers with her sexy dances.
  
  It will need a lot wet blankets to put out her enthusiasm. Thank goodness.
