  What GrandDuke outlines is what we have been advocating for years now. A good start would be start the AM show at 6am, not 4, and add 2 hours from 10PM to midnight on TV as night show. This would be a good transition because most of the Thai audience is still TV, so it would give the channel the best chance to succeed. One thing the 4am show has demonstrated is that when the Thai girls are on TV and able to show some nudity, a lot of TV watchers were willing to get up at 4am to see them. It can only be massively better from 10PM to midnight. The problem with our proposal is that it makes good business sense, something the management has been quite immune to up to now.

  I think that the uneasy relationship between Babestation and Thai Chat's owner may be the stumbling block to common sense prevailing. What we both asking for is blindingly obvious. It does not need well paid men in suits sitting around for hours in a business meeting to come up with something like this, it is staring them in the face. Clearly other factors are at work here.
  
  I think that Babestation would not be happy to rent them a channel which would be in direct competition with their own night shows. That is why they were put on at 4am in the first place, as there was nothing to compete against at that time. 10pm to midnight is night show prime time however, so may not be readily available. That is why I mention the webshow as an alternative, which may seem less threatening.

  I do get that point, but I always wonder what the basis would be for this fear of competition. It seems to me that the forum and the chat have shown that there is rather minimal overlap between those who love the Thai channel and those who want nothing to do with it. My feeling is that it would build NEW business, as well as reallocate the 4am Thai Chat faithful to prime time- I doubt those who are getting up at 4 to watch and call the Thai girls are big UK channel watchers, and even if they were you are just moving what they would have spent on the Thai channel anyway to a different time of day. But the big thing, as GrandDuke has pointed out before, is that there are guys out there who watch the Thai Channel on TV who may not even know that there is a time when the girls can get partially naked, not being among the 0.02% in the UK who are ever up at 4 am. All of these things could promote good, new business and not hurt the UK channels.

  I used to enjoy getting up for the early show..let the dog out, have a brew and a fag and watch the glorious lady's and ladyboys of the east performing..a nice way to start the day.
  Alas that went tits up and now I'm reduced to being forlorn and living on my memories..lol.

  The problem is that men may love girls being in the industry to pander to their needs but hate THEIR girlfriend doing anything like that. Makes it hard for girls doing the job to find happiness in marriage with their perfect man subsequently. Whilst most girls can keep their former employment secret these girls can't, as Thailand has access to this website too and videos of them performing are there for anyone to find.
  
  For such a high personal cost, their daily reward from the show is barely enough, less than a girl can earn doing a regular job I am told.

  Good points made by both Mark and derryman and I agree with you both. The problem is that WE know that there is a unique clique who only want to watch Thai Chat, whilst most of the rest would not touch it with a barge pole but the men in suits who make these decisions are clueless about this. How often do you think they will join in the chat or on this forum to know the true situation? Never I would not mind betting.

  In the absence of having a feel for the respective audiences, they replace that with a simplistic fear of anything that might harm their current audience figures. That may be way off the mark but they don't realise that.
  
  A key component to their thinking is I suspect the fact that Babestation do not own Thai Chat but they do own all their UK channels. So if Thai chat gets 3 times more business and doubles its profit, Babestation only get a fraction of that, acting only as a partner. But if their channels lost 20% of their business as a result, which they wouldn't of course but they don't understand that,  they would incur 100% of that loss.
  
  That would explain why UK girl channels get preferential treatment too.

  The reality is, in my opinion, that if the Thai Chat channel was broadcasting a late show, it would have virtually no effect on callers to the current Babestation channels. Instead it would attract more viewers to watch and earn more revenue for Thai Chat, of which Babestation would earn a cut at least.
  
  The Thai owners would have to pay a hefty rental fee as well of course, so they would need to generate substantial extra income to justify it. A webshow would have no extra cost at all, as it merely shifts the working hours of the girls. It is bound to generate more revenue from 10pm to midnight than from 4am to 6am amongst UK callers, so there seems no reason why that cannot be done at least.

  I don't remember if I read this on the chat box or in the other forum, but curlybaggie, who lives in Thailand, says that his access to rampant has been cut, meaning, I believe, that rampant can no longer be accessed in Thailand. He said he could still see it from the Babestation site, but the key point here is that he cannot access the video archive anymore, and that was the bone of contention exposing the girls and leading up to, or having something to do with, the latest censorship. They might cut the other portals in time, who knows. If that protects the girls locally, that is the price some will have to pay I suppose.

  Disappointed with the 4am show today...Daisy was back on in skimpy bikini underwear but she wouldn't show anything despite getting a couple of longish calls. Perhaps it was because she was with Nadia. Nadia seems really unhappy to be on TC these days. She looked like she was complaining the whole hour.
