Tesla Cybertruck
Just seen the latest creation from Elon Musk and it looks hideous. The presentation was hilarious as he touted the windows as being incredibly strong and it failed a live demonstration where a guy threw a solid metal ball at the window. It failed twice I should add. Despite it's dodgy exterior it's the worlds first electric pick up and is getting a tonne of pre orders.

RE: Tesla Cybertruck
Making "bulletproof" the selling point of your new truck is just asking for trouble.

RE: Tesla Cybertruck
Hideous is an understatement but he has such a ***** following that it doesn't even matter. I wonder if it will go on sale here given the size of the thing, clearly will be hell driving it on our small roads.

RE: Tesla Cybertruck
It's reached the level of Apple. Stick the Tesla badge on something and the masses will run about screaming about how great it is because of who it's made by. Doesn't matter how bad (or potentially good) it actually is.
'Anyway, he's an undead. I don't see how you can save undeads. It's a sort of contradiction in terms.' 'A dichotomy,' said the Bursar helpfully. 'Oh, I don't think surgery is involved.' |

RE: Tesla Cybertruck
Couldn't agree with you more mate, Tesla are indeed the Apple or the car world. Epic vehicles they are though, test drove a Model S last month and boy it shifts quicker than anything i've experienced and its a family car, electric cars are definitely here to stay.

RE: Tesla Cybertruck
the tesla cybertruck looks like it is a 'STEALTH' pick up maybe it cannot be seen by police speed cameras ? i had heard that tesla's were unreliable and worse than that they had a tendency to burst into flames. anyone any first hand experience. thing is, like you said. it is like an i- pad on wheels. the more electronic gizmos attached the more can go wrong. understandable in a luxury car like a lexus but is that what people buying pickup trucks want. just a functional working truck i would have thought.

RE: Tesla Cybertruck
I'd say it's a myth that they have a tendency to burst into flames, wouldn't be road legal if so. They made headlines because some did go up in flames and with it's position leading the field for electric cars it's under the microscope so anything that happens to it is exaggerated to a certain degree i feel.
