TESLA AUTOPILOT STOPS RIGHT BEFORE AN ACCIDENT

You may remember a few weeks back I posted about the new Tesla Autopilot system. Well, a recent dash cam recording shows the car traveling at 45 mph in the rain. The driver was watching stopped traffic on his right when all of a sudden a car skidded in front of him and before the owner could react the Autopilot kicked in and stopped hence preventing an accident. OK, so it's not the most eventful video but it just shows where technology is headed and with this new system, lives can be saved.

Thats all well and good but where the heck is the technology which gives us the likes of lightsabers and x-wings and blasters! :)

that's amazing, I didn't actually think a lot of this was in place already just the assisted parking and like the awareness...but not full on overide and stopping shit. So class. But also agree with Jose, there are more important things needed hehe

wow thats just amazing, I wonder why other car companies such as mercedes and BMW who are very big in the car industry cant do this? i've seen this technology on the mercedes s class but its no way near as good as this one on the tesla
