  That's right another Terminator (because why just let a film series end anymore),
  With Arnie returning as the Terminator (apparently Terminators age now), Jason Clarke as John Connor (no idea who he is), Emilia Clarke as Sarah Connor (Daenarys in Game Of Thrones) someone called Jai Courtney as Kyle Reese (not got a clue who he is, ridiculous name though), Day Okeniyi as Danny Dyson. And the most recent casting announcement Matt Smith (because he seemingly can't get enough of time travel).
  
  From what's been said i can't quite figure out if this is a sequel with prequel elements, a reboot to start again or just blatantly nonsensical.
  
  Thoughts?

  A few years ago they tried starting the franchise again with Christian Bale playing John Connor but that movie did not do that well so it makes sense to try again. Since the character Sarah Connors is in the movie, it is probably going to be a reboot of the series.

  They could make everything Terminator related better by waiting until GoT is finished and getting Lena Headey back to play Sarah Connor and continuing on with the Sarah Connor Chronicles.

  this is good i like terminator sick movies,the best one for me is terminator 2 judgement day gona go see this one in cinema if the trailer looks good,and i watched those series to they was ok i guess

  The third instalment(granted being a 12/PG-13 certificate) was absolute shit, and Terminator 4/Salvation(?)) was ok but still shitty.
  I don't hold much faith for the next Terminator movie........although I probably will see it.

  @thisscotsman I actually quite liked the Sarah Connor chronicles as well, as a continuation of the Terminator story it was much better than the films after Judgement Day, but that is never getting a continuation in any form.
  
  @robo_mojo yeah Terminator Salvation, that was better than 3 i thought, but then that isn't difficult, and despite being a good actor Christian Bale was a bad John Connor
  
  Conflicted on this film really, the first two were great but subsequent films have only gotten worse, and the film rights to Terminator revert to James Cameron in 2018 (or something like that) so the current rights holders are basically getting some films together fast before they lose them.

  So the just of the movie is somehow arnie comes back kills himself in the first as soon as he appears but kyle reece is sent back anyway. Oh and @jesslloydfan jason clarke was in white house down/lawless new planet of the apes . Jai courtney has been in jack reacher/a good day to die hard

  Yes we all appreciate how famous all these lines are but there's no need to pull them out for every single new Terminator property.
  
  I watched 3 and regretted it and I managed 30m into Salvation before giving up. The only reason this could be interesting is because it seems to be alternate history.
