  That's who the guy with the tattoos is, the possessed El Diablo sounds interesting, it does look like the film version has been reduced to a generic crazy criminal though, since nothing in the trailer indicates any kind of supernatural abilities or anything like that. Unless that's being saved for the film to be seen.

  It could be that the powers that be are witholding the juicy bits, either for later trailers (the films not out for over a year..boo) or the film itself. I wasnt aware of El Diablo either. On the face of it just looks like a guy with Tatoos on his face. Now we know abit more about his character..am even more excited to see this. Im not worried about Jared's Joker at all. Given what Jared has pulled out of the bag on his previous films, the Joker is in safe hands.

  Yeah the first El Diablo was possessed by the demon but the version who is the film is the third one who is just criminal who hospitalized doing something or other and while in the hospital he meets the first El Diablo, so whether he passes the demon onto him, who knows. Who be good if they do do that because it would make the character more interesting.

  Yeah, just being a run of the mill criminal would be, well, a little dull given who he will be teaming up with considering their skills / abilities / insanity. Another thing that really sets the trailer off for me is the tune that plays throughout the trailer. Im really hoping that the tune will be used at some point (be it during or after) the film. A fantastic cover of a classic Bee gee's tune from 1968 called ' I started a joke'. No idea who performs the cover version but i hope it gets released. It does a magnificent job of setting the trailers mood.
