  Just think if this film is a huge flop and does turn out to be utter shit you can always just go and watch Batman Assault on Arkham the animated film which stars the suicide squad and is actually quite good.

  Good call on Batman Assault on Arkham, Coop. One of the better animated offerings from the animated DC catalogue. I have fairly high hopes for this, even if i am hedging the bulk of those hopes on the director who based on his previous efforts does know what he is doing. Also Jared Letos joker who at least looks pretty badass. Just so long a the certificate is right, 15 at least me thinks (that would be awesome).

  They have released a trailer for this, I say released, it was leaked from comic con and they just rolled with it avoid people seeing in shitty quality.
  
  Looks promising, Harley Quinn looks great (personality wise, even if I'd rather an outfit that looked a little less cosplay), and the Joker looks suitably crazy (still not keen on the teeth) and he's got the voice right. Will Smith's character looks very like most of his recent roles though (supposed to be a villian but not getting that vibe from him), and despite having only one line Jai Courtney looks like a mannequin pretending to be a real boy.

  Yeah from the trailer it does seem quite interesting. I am hoping that it turns out well and it is actually a good film. I have to agree thought about Joker. It does seem like Jared is going to play the part well it is just the way he looks that might get me. I both like and dislike this jokers look but we will just have to wait and see.

  It is odd the look they went for, a bit try hard with the teeth and the tattoos. I think Jared will be able to play the part well so hopefully he'll be able to overcome the weird look. Have not got the slightest clue who the guy with all the face tattoos is supposed to be, not one I've ever heard of or seen before.

  maybe jared may do well in suicide squad but to be honest its gonna take a lot of convincing for me , like why on earth is he not wearing a suit and where are the scars on his face like you can play witht the character a bit but dont take away his costume which is his identity in my opinion

  OK. I've been bottling my thoughts up about the suicide squad trailer. I think it will do really well in the cinemas which is honestly why it is being made but harley quin does not have her "harley quin" voice
  Jared Leto sounds great, but they fucked up Harley Quinn, REALLLY bad

  I was anticipating Suicide Squads release, even though its a year away, just based on the initial concept. Since seeing the trailer though, oh shit, i need to see this film right now. What a fucking awesome trailer. Am really liking Harley Quinn in this but Jared Leto's Joker, OMG..he is gonna nail this. Given the directors past efforts as well (End of Watch, Fury etc...). Cant wait.

  Hi jesslloydfan, the guy with all the tattoos on his face is called El Diablo. He is a bit unknown but the version of him in this film is the third iteration of the villain. the original El-Diablo was a guy who was cursed and was the host of demon who was meant to be spirit of vengeance or the devil. A bit weird but kind of interesting.

  I think Harley Quinn will be a love hate thing, so many people love that character so i think loads will hate any kinda change, like yo232 said. Also agree with the joker comments about the suit and scars. Actually wee bit worried about how the joker will be played out really. But, Margot Robbie, can do no wrong. sweet jesus shes hot. haha
