Spot on Russy it is a bag of piss! i only use it to add 1 last large pic to my pic'posts, for the rest of the pics i STILL use turboimage.

Licme is good as in as much as its quick loading, but you cant just add smaller images, if you want to load pics like i or you or a few others do, you cant without 'resizing' everything, no matter what you use 'best fit, 100/160/200/260/360' they all come out the same, fuckn page filling massive pics!!! and as you say the 'Square Cropped' is pointless! Good we still got Turbo, coz if i had to take the time to resize every single large image so they would load like Turbo does i dont think id have the patience to carry on, id just make posts with 1 big fuckoff picture!

Heres an example, 1st Turbo 'Large Thumb 350' i can load 8 of these side by side and they just fill the screen nicely, 2nd Licme 'Best Fit 100' without 'resizing' is just TOO FUCKING BIG!!

It looks to me like you are copying the image link, rather than the thumbnail link.


When uploaded, lic.me generates 2 versions, the full one, and the resized thumbnail.

The full-sized image is given https://lic.me/i/xxxxx, and the thumbnail is https://lic.me/t/xxxxx

if at any point you are copying the thumb link and you get a /i/ url, just swap the i to a t :)

and if you try to upload multiple images then it tries to upload them altogether, not one at a time, and then they're all out of order!!! so you get #2,#6,#,1,#5,#3,#4 as an example when you copy to the clipboard, and god forbid you try to upload more than 8 or 9 as it just won't do it!!!

Images are uploaded at the same time, so the smaller file sizes are going to finish first and be out of order, usually this doesn't matter but if you need them in some sort of order then probably best to do it one at a time.

The multiple image uploaded is shite for internet explorer users, regardless of version, this is because internet explorer IS shite. In my experiments, if one image fails during the upload, it force reloads the page, cancelling all current uploads. In less-shit browsers I have been able to upload up to 20 images in one go.

Russy. I may be wrong but I have the feeling the site is aiming to force us to use lic.me as I not long ago used turbo and noticed that a few points were gone afterwards. Whereas yesterday I made a correction when using lic.me for a cap and lost one taking out and correcting the cap before re posting it again . Maybe it was 5 points for the cap edit yesterday but would have thought the points lost would have all been deducted straight away rather than the 1 point, then the rest later. Totally agree. Service should work for users and it shouldn't make a difference what image host is used as points for images no longer count. Everything should just stay the same.
