It may only be September but companies are already thinking about the must-have Crimbo gifts and Sony may have hit the motherload with their upcoming release. With Sony releasing mini versions of old games consoles with a whole bunch of their major games on them, they've now revealed that they’ll be releasing a Playstation classic with 20 games on December 3rd.
The Playstation Classic will set you back around £80 and come complete with 20 classic games on it, including Final Fantasy VII, Tekken 3, Ridge Racer Type 4, Jumping Flash and Wild Arms. The other 15 will be announced at a later date but I'm pretty sure you won't be disappointed. I'd be surprised if Crash Bandicoot didn't make an appearance. Here’s what the official press release says

Pretty exciting stuff. To think we can play on the console we played with as kids with our own kids is kind of awesome. I hope there is a PS classic-shaped gift under my tree this Christmas. -

100 quid? Think I'm still more up for the SNES classic. The PS was a great console for changing times but there weren't enough incredible games that you couldn't get on other platforms to make me want a PS mini with 22 pre-loaded, 2 of which I care about. -

The PS was my first ever console so it will always have a place in my heart. I'm the same as FantasticMR. I would say that there is only one of the games mentioned, and that's Ridge Racer, that interests me, so I'll probably pass but I guess it depends on what the other games on it are going to be. -

Do you know whether these preloaded consoles get updates with new games or whether you get 22 games and that's your lot? -

damnn that looks like the size of his hand if thats how it looks in real life thats crazy, i dont know how long a console that small will last though, but would make a good xmas present for my bro
