  I get what you mean, i remember seeing clips of oblivion and it looked interesting, i may buy it when i get chance just that i have to be alot more selective with what games i buy lately i have less money and games are expensive.

  
  i dont' know the specific details of skyrim, but if it's anything like oblivion was, like if it's made in the same spirit/style and you're into some serious RPG action, then i think you'll get a lot of play value out of oblivion, bethesda tend to make loooong games where you can really do a LOT of different stuff

  Didn't bethesda also do fallout 3 and new vegas, they were long games too, they were good though,
  infact if the oblivion games are anything like the fallout games i'll probably enjoy them.

  
  They did too Fallout 3 and New Vegas. Like I said earlier in the thread, I enjoyed both of them but nowhere near as much as any of the Elder Scrolls series. I just always felt more immersed and free in those games. Something about the world they create in the Elder Scrolls game lets you feel like you are not following any preset path but just living a life in that world with free choice as to how you live it.

  Heard good things about this from colleagues got to put sometime in to get the most out of the experience I just can never seem to commit to games like it if you can enjoy.

  Everything is offered to you. Unlike its predecessor, Oblivion (not a direct sequel but Skyrim is set after the events of Oblivion), character specialisation is left entirely to you; there are no major or minor skills to be concerned with. This streamlining of the core mechanics makes the game a much more fluid experience than its predecessors and there’s less annoying bookkeeping than last time.

  The game looks amazing still cant believe i haven't got my hands on this game will defo be getting it on the weekend anyone could give this on a rating out of 10 and is it better than the previous elder scrolls ???

  I've got it, a little buggy at times, but seems like a really good game, just wish there was some multiplayer options for these.
  Stopped playing it due to the release of the SWTOR beta though, but im sure once thats over ill be back to killin dragons

  I've still not got this game but the more reviews i've read and clips i've seen the more i've wanted to get it, will definately have to get it, does look like an epic game and by the sounds of it you get alot of options for how you play the game.

  i got the game for Christmas and have became totally addictive to it and haven't changed over to the other game i got for Christmas as there are so many quests any one know what the best armour is

  I had a beta for SWTOR last christmas (not one just passed but 2010) but unfortunately I couldn't connect to the internet at my uni halls and the internet at my parents house is terrible so couldn't do anything with it. Is it any good?
  
  As for skyrim it is awesome. There's ~300hrs of gameplay there plus the fact that they always generating quests it's virtually infinite amount of play lol.
  
  I had to stop because of exams etc. and haven't played it for 2 months but can't wait to get back on it. It's not my usual type of game but i love it :D

  ive been in two minds about this game even before it was released im still like that now ive seen some video reviews of it and lot people saying it good game but im not bowl over by it ' a think a still mite purchase it but i think a rather wait till it drops down in price '
