  As i`ve said in a previous post it varies drastically what some people consider the best style of Bond compared to others, some prefer the more light hearted style of Bond (lots of gadgets, more tongue in cheek, semi indestructable Bond) as opposed to the darker, more toned down Bond (where the character is more like an agent would be, and closer to the original storys)
  Nothing wrong with thinking whichever one is better and in the case of the Bond films no one ever seems to be middle ground either one or the other oddly, just that i seem to be outnumbered on this board in preferring the newer Craig Bonds lol.

  I think if they have an Aston Martin as the main car in the films I could be swayed lol.

  that's a very shallow view of a franchise spanning 20 films (i don't count the last two as bond films, they were nothing to do with bond in any way shape of form)

  Yeah I know, i said in my previous post that i don't see the new ones as bond films but more as just action films.

  Yesterday I saw the trailer for Skyfall in the cinema and it seems that they are trying to bring it closer to the bond we al know and love but bloody hell why did it take 3 films to get back to it?
  After the first one which they said was to start it all off again and show more or less how bond became bond I thought Ok pretty shite but what will they do next. Then came Solace and at the end of it, which I was extremely glad came, I couldn't really tell you what the film was about, it certainly wasn't bond & it certainly wasn't good.
  So Bond is back with a young Q and some hint of proper gadgets, don't know if that is enough to ignite my passion for the franchise again...

  The trailer actually looks like it could be a really good film I havent managed to watch the two latest Daniel Craig films but people seem to like them a lot he'll not come close to Connery though :D

  I'm quite excited about this film. To be honest, I never got overly into the older bond movies. I know they're classics but while I find them funny they can be a bit dry too. Liked the Brosnan era alright, but Daniel Craig has been 50/50, one good film, one shit, here's hoping that skyfall delivers.

  I thought Quantum of solace was a good film, very underrated,
  but it seems like the newest one is trying to involve some of the older style while still keeping the character less fantasy.

  I'm always waiting for Bond films, obviously after 50 years and 20 movies they can't be equal or look like always the same, maybe they become better maybe worse, opinions may vary, but 007 is a must to view at the cinema, for me.
