  Sequels, for most games it is an innevitable consequence of being released, what I want to know is, what are the best and worst sequels in your books? Which ones were crappy cash in games that by their very nature ruined the original they came after, and which improved on the original in every way to give us something new and exciting??

  i like the game max payne i hear max payne3 is out soon on ps3 xbox Johnjrambo i love that bullet time that was in the first two games. Johnjrambo

  Well there are a few game series which got better with sequels, God of War got better with every one and i thought the third was the best one, Uncharted improve with every instalment too, although you are right there are some that just end up ruining the ones that come before them a bit, like Devil May Cry i personally really didn`t like the 4th one.

  I didn't really like any of the devil may cry's, the first was quite fun but I dunno, I got bored very quickly I think. I think Halo has improved with every game, as has mass effect (not trying to jynx it with numeber 3 just around the corner).

  not really a big fan of sequels as most of the time they fail to live up to the that of the first edition one game which shows this really is need for speed which was once pretty awesome

  See i actually think that the best of the Need for speed games series was the underground ones, more specificly Need for Speed Most Wanted and Carbon being in my opinion the best of them, the canyon races in Carbon very good to play especially.
