  Remember like ten years ago when a new iPhone came out, and there was enough new shit on it to render the previous generation obsolete?  Second half of those 24 month contracts were a real slog, weren't they?
  
  And how now the only thing a new model's giving you is a slightly sharper screen and rumours (unfounded) of a competent battery?
  
  Well check this out, being shocked and impressed and compelled to part with way too much of your hard-earned on technology fans; the new Samsung's got a futuristic as all heck folding screen!

  It goes on sale April 26th, and will cost just shy of $2,000.  Since Brexit, that works out at just shy of £2,000.  Belting.

  the fold wasnt really the most interesting thing about that, i found there version of air pods, being able to charge by simply placing them on the back of a samsung to be a good gimmick

  Samsung had to recall these phones shortly after release as the folds were easily damaged and some even peeled off the screen so questionable build quality there. Just been re released with fixes but I still don't see the appeal of this phone
