  Again, am I going mad or is that another post with almost no relation to the thread? Maybe the site's had some technical difficulties, or spamming. Seems to be a common theme that people like to buy. I'm fond of waiting for reasonable prices, however with CoD games they only drop right before the next one comes out, which is balls.

  see i'm the very lucky minority in that i tend to get sent a lot of games for free, and then what i don't i just buy. i have nothing against renting and have done it a lot myself in the past but i just like building up a big collection of games, plus as previously mentioned it means if i suddenly feel like playing a game from a couple years ago i can as i still have it and haven't returned it to the shop etc...

  Yes you are very lucky mate, wish i got sent free games lol.
  I think i may have rented one game once but i like having the games to go back to whenever i feel like it really, and you can't do that with renting i rarely trade games in eitherk just incase i want to play them again at a later date.

  I normally do a mixture of both. I never buy a game nowadays without renting it or having played it before hand (at a friends house maybe). This tactics has served me well for the past few years and stopped me from waisting hundreds of pounds on dreadful games such as the battlefield series and GTA 4

  ye me to i d rather buyt then because the games that blockbuster and all there rent a game places the quality of the discs they get can mash up ur xbox lazer i kniw trhis because i had one break because of this

  rent them complete them then bring then back and get another game saves a heck of a lot of money of just go a car boot sale and buy loads for a couple of pounds

  i always buy my games, always used to think whats the point of paying some money to have it for a little while when you can pay a bit more n own it forever... BUT saying that though having a huge collection of games im probs never gonna play again im begginging to think renting is not a bad way to go form now on..
