  tell me about it mate, one of these days they'll listen and add some more mods. last night, well this morning really i spent a good 15 mins going through reporting the 20 spam posts a guy had made that hour and i've just reported another one, it's so annoying as even when a few of us do report them it still takes so long for a mod to get online and do something that the person has more than enough time to spend there 20 points if that's what they were spamming for.

  was that the ugg boots spammer? I reported those as well, I think they wait until no mods about and get to it. Pain the bloody arse...

  yep think it was, the thing is i'm normally up at that time so it gets really annoying seeing all these spammers and not being able to do anything other than report them because as i said it means that if they're doing it to get points they have the time to spend them, sure the points limit means they can't get many but they shouldn't be able to get any at all.
  
  to my knowledge i think there's only actually one mod on the site, dVIOUS and fantasticMR are admins so don't really seem to on the site very much, whenever i've logged on i only see warchylduk and it's a lot of work for one guy to do, he does a great job but he is still just one man, i may be wrong and there may be more but i've not spotted them

  i think thiers needs to be more mods and i think members who have been here a longtime some of us them should be made mods

  it's been suggested before mate, i've even offered to be one as i don't really use points so wouldn't mind if being a mod meant i no longer earnt points but they don't seem to be interested or at the very least weren't interested when i offered. If i remember correctly a couple people even suggested me as a mod to the powers that be off their own backs.

  I am a mod and i still earn points lol I try to keep on top of the spam and other problems but helps when people report them as they find them . as i cant check every post for spam

  i thought you did earn points, i was just saying i would've been fine with doing it even if you didn't. i don't think anyone's saying you don't do a good job mate, just that it's a hell of a lot of work for one guy, i mean you can't be on-line all day everyday and if they actually had more than one guy as a mod then maybe spammers would get banned quicker no matter what time of day they posted which might in theory deter them from coming back if their posts are deleted almost straightaway before anyone really sees them/they get a chance to spend any points.

  well, it's an oldie but a goody, people still don't leave rep!
  
  all of my gif threads, with the exception of one that for some reason the site i upload to closed my account for lol, have had a bump recently and although all of them have had another surge in views and a message on one saying how much the guy loved them and appreciated just how long it took me to find them all and upload them all (at a guess over 100 per thread and over 6 threads with no repeats that i'm aware of) i got one single plus rep from bickers i think it was.
  
  seriously there's a few of us with sigs that mention it, but people still can't be bothered! the free loading nature of many of the members here (NOT all but the majority) is the reason i stopped bothering wasting my time finding them all and uploading them and posting them.
  
  i'm not saying i think everyone should be thankful of me and treat me like a god, just that the sheer number of views, and comments saying they loved the threads compared to the amount of reps i got from them is stupid!
  
  true i don't go around chucking out rep here there and everywhere, but if i like a post then i give rep, i don't post a comment saying how fantastic a thread is and then leave.
  
  anyway that's my big old rant over with and i can go back to being my normal laid back self lol
