It might be my browser or a bug i'm not sure, but its annoying :@
Btw preview can come in very handy when you posting caps or vids, so if its only me it effects fine i can work around it, but if not it might need looking in to :)
to be honest i've never bothered trying the preview post so can't tell you if it's just you or the site.
while merging threads is one good idea in a lot of cases what actually needs to be done is threads deleted and members given warnings, as a lot of the duplicates tend to be made by people who haven't even looked, as if they had looked they would notice there where already three threads on the same subject on the very first page!
another thing that bugs me is people who just use appalling english, as i've said before i'm not a great speller, but there's no excuse for the way some people write on here, i.e "wid" and not with, "koz" instead of because, "wot" instead of what etc... etc... i hate that sort of txt speak, i don't mind things like "lol" but there's really no reason for just making up words, especially when in many cases all it does is make the post almost unreadable and you end up spending more time working out what the hell the poster meant instead of taking in what they're saying and replying to it.
i would have thought that fact that if you post 140 characters or more you get a point would stop people not typing words correctly, but apparently they just seem to post even more rubbish to make up for all the missing letters from their words -

well, i tend to report as many as i catch that are obviously pointless. and hopefully when a mod/admin that those reports go to logs in and see's them something will be done. also i spot someone posting the same rubbish in multiple threads (the most common of which at the moment seems to be people posting totally unrelated copy and paste paragraphs from wikipedia) i give them - rep as well, although i seem to be the only person who does that lol -

When you run a forum and someone posts something you don't like, the answer is ban them? Admin and Moderators are there to help people not to put the fear of god in to them so no one posts, that would be defeating the whole object of a forum for discussion.
The reason i say merge is most have gone out of there way to post caps of the girls and not seen theres a thread already exists, which happens on all forums, so all that is done on mine is merged and that member gets a polite PM telling him his post was moved and please remember there is a search function.
Btw the chat in a video thread gets moved to the discussion thread and same again to that member through PM, if that member does it repeatedly he gets his first warning, if it still continues he as a holiday of up to 14 days from the forum :)
Quoting of full video and caps gets a verbal warning and post deleted, all Moderators have there own forum rules of conduct so helps for consistent Moderation.
Btw there are new people coming online and joining forums for the first time ever everyday and they make a mistake on there first post and get shouted at, no they just need help on how to.
Basically you give people a chance before you hang them. -

What has been really getting on my nerves recently is people reading the topic of the thread and then just posting a reply without reading any of what has been said in it so far. This seems to apply whether their post goes on the first page or the 50th page. -

you give them a fair trial,but laziness sneaks in too,because who says you cant open new thread when you come on site,mistakes happen but they open new threads you never see them again,what do they care... -

i never said ban them, i said give them a warning. and i wasn't so much talking about people who make a thread for a girl and put some caps in it when there's already a thread for that girl, i was talking about people who make threads about things like "how does points for posts work" when there's already a thread explaining it etc... and it's even a sticky on the very page they would have to of been on to create their new thread.
i didn't say shout at them, don't be fair etc... just simply give them a warning along the lines of "please use the search feature/read through existing threads before creating a new one" that's all
oh and i also wasn't meaning things i don't like, i ment the people who post articles from wikipedia that have nothing to do with anything, or random jumbles of letters and numbers etc... etc... that should get banned.
on the whole i think this forum is run very well, we have to remember it has undergone a lot of growth in a short period of time, and any site that has that is bound to experience problems. i think it could be helped if maybe there were a few more admins -

there is no way in hell i want the fun taken out off being here,i came on so naive what happens on a forum,but the blame is at the top for not laying down a few ground rules,they gave us the 140characters rule,i objected but now cant blame them,oh i hate ranting... -

i agree, granted if the thread has 40 odd pages they might not read all of them, but they could at least read the last page or two before the end to make sure they know what's being talked about etc... but more often then not it happens on thread with 2 pages total!
also i get annoyed when people just click reply to the first post everytime they want to make a new post on a thread even when they're not actually replying to what's been said in that first post simply because they can't be bothered to move their finger slightly to scroll to the bottom and click the "new reply" button
