A couple of late goals saw Palace win 3-1 in yesterday's late kick-off. Their first win of the season, but the wait goes on for Sunderland.
Not the best day overall though, hopefully today will be an improvement. 3 big games coming up...
LIVERPOOL v MAN UTD (13:30)
David Moyes knows plenty about derbies against Liverpool of course. However, wins for Everton were a bonus, at United they're expected. He handled the pressure OK in Monday's draw at home to Chelsea, but it'll be cranked up a notch at Anfield this afternoon. Brendan Rodgers will be feeling confident of getting a result here after his side's impressive start to the season, and with Moyes still bedding in, may feel this is the perfect time to be facing their biggest rivals.
Kolo Toure is doubtful for the home side so Martin Skrtel could come back in after recovering from injury. Joe Allen is also struggling. Phil Jones should be fit to start for United and Wayne Rooney could keep his place in the starting eleven after impressing against Chelsea.
WEST BROM v SWANSEA (13:30)
Both sides will be viewing this as an ideal opportunity to pick up their first wins of the season, and while it's too early to start panicking, they'll want to get those 3 points on the board as quickly as possible. West Brom in particular, whose opening fixtures appeared far more winnable than Swansea's.
Nicolas Anelka is back in training for the Baggies and could feature, especially as Matej Vydra is ruled out with a hamstring injury sustained in the midweek cup match. Ben Foster remains sidelined and will be for the next 3 months. Nathan Dyer and Neil Taylor are the Swans' only injury concerns.
ARSENAL v TOTTENHAM (16:00)
Arsene Wenger's a muppet and his side won't be able to get anywhere near Andre Villas-Boas' new and expensively assembled team of world-beaters.
Well, that's what the media would have you believe anyway. And while this is a must-not-lose match for Wenger, the reality of the situation is probably less severe. Arsenal did finish above Spurs last season, and still have plenty of talent in their side. Tottenham have bought well, no doubt, but will have to do without that Bale chap this season.
So what better way to gauge the teams' respective strengths and weaknesses by having them play each other? Laurent Koscielny returns from suspension, Jack Wilshere and Aaron Ramsey should be fit too. Lukas Podolski, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Mikel Arteta are all missing for the home side though. Tottenham's most recent signings are unlikely to feature and Aaron Lennon is doubtful.
