  Got a bit engrossed in the Saints game there, great point away from home though, at Old Trafford no less...
  
  Comfortable for Arsenal and Chelsea in the end with 4 goals apiece. Same for Swansea, not good news at all for Sunderland that one.

  Javi Garcia at centre half, that doesn't bode well.

  Great picture Scotty, also good win for City tonight, at 2-1 they looked a tad under pressure but came through it well and they are looking stronger and stronger in my eyes, the physical presence they have in Toure, Fernandinho, Aguero and Negredo is what I think will win them the league

  The teams are in for today's game. 4pm kick off.
  
  Villa: Guzan, Bacuna, Vlaar, Clark, El Ahmadi, Westwood, Luna, Delph, Weimann, Agbonlahor, Kozak.
  Spurs: Lloris, Walker, Chiriches, Dawson, Vertonghen, Paulinho, Sandro, Townsend, Holtby, Sigurdsson, Soldado.
  
  Benteke's on the bench for Villa, obviously not quite ready for a full match.
  
  And Townsend's still holding off Lennon and Lamela, he starts for Spurs.

  I wonder what Defoe and Lennon will look to do in January, both must surely have ambitions of going to Brazil next June but if neither are starting regularly then surely that would be unlikely, particularly for Lennon who is not even a consideration at present for club or country

  Yeah Lennon looks a long way off. I suppose he might be able to get a loan move to somewhere like Villa or Fulham, but you could argue that playing for a club like that won't do his international chances much good anyway.
  
  Defoe will get plenty of football in the cups and in Europe, and as long as he keeps scoring in those I think that'll be enough to keep him in contention. Not exactly over-run with forward options are we?
  
  Good win for Spurs yesterday btw, even if it did knock Southampton out of the European places :)

  I hate football.I hate the league. I hate that Man utd are not dominating everybody it makes me sad. I wish things would go back to normal. My head hurts.
