  :D they bloody well should, but with all the good games they have, you know they will have their shockers!!!! let's hope they can keep these to a minimum this season... But where they had problems finishing games off and scoring before, that's doesn't seem to be so big of a problem at the moment does it... even though it's still early in the season, but have a bit of a faith...

  
  The fact that everyone else are having their fair share of shockers doesn't hurt either. Can't see Man Utd finishing above them at the moment, but one from City, Chelsea, Arsenal and Spurs will have to give as well if they want Champions League.

  A look ahead to the 17:30 kick-off:
  
  SUNDERLAND v MAN UTD
  Could this be the game where Man Utd get back on track? If they don’t (this Sunderland team have only managed one point from their opening six games) then something’s seriously wrong. David Moyes can call on Wayne Rooney again after he sat out Wednesday’s draw in Donetsk but Rio Ferdinand and Tom Cleverly are both doubts.
  
  The Black Cats’ search for a first league win won’t be made any easier by the absence of Steven Fletcher, Andrea Dossena and fromer Utd defender Wes Brown. Fabio Borini returns to the squad though after being ineligible for last week’s defeat to Liverpool, his parent club.

  Dwight Gayle has pulled one back for Palace to make it 3-1 at Anfield.
  
  Only 10 mins left so too little, too late most likely...
  
  And Darren Bent has just put Fulham 1-0 up against Stoke. Big goal for Martin Jol, that. Can the Cottagers hold on?

  Here are the full-times:
  
  Cardiff 1-2 Newcastle
  Fulham 1-0 Stoke
  Hull 0-0 Aston Villa
  Liverpool 3-1 Crystal Palace
  
  A massive win for Fulham lifts them out of the bottom three and eases the pressure on Martin Jol. Alan Pardew will probably sleep a little easier tonight too.
  
  And Liverpool return to the top of the table after a comprehensive win against Palace.

  I know we were talking about teams having shockers earlier but United's defence is taking it to a new level...
  
  HALF TIME and it's still 1-0 to Sunderland, although they've had at least 2 further good chances they didn't make anything from... Even though their defence has held up a 2 goal cushion would have been nice to have...
  I wonder what Moyes will be saying in the changing room? Will he get the hair dryer out lol...

  Bloody hell that was touch and go for a while. But utd have come through with a win. I was worriedly starting to behave like a Liverpool fan where I was gonna start looking forward to ' next season' by November.
