Shelvey certainly got a few cheers for his 'back' pass - classic, and Sturridge knew he was going to do it before he did, nice pre-emption...

As for CL, well it's an ask but this could be their season, they need to believe they can stay at the top or thereabouts and stop their stupid throwing away of points as they have done over the last few years. It's tough at the top, and it's time they learned to be tough again, there's only so may excuses you can spout... They have the talent, so what's missing? Drive and belief?

to be fair to liverpool fans this season they should end up a lot closer to top than they have for a long time. its gonna dependmainly on suarez cuz they have looked solid in defence.
