I did checkout some of the bootleg version, it was pretty dark, but also pretty cool, the green ranger's shield was awesome, I think the black ranger went pretty dark, can't really remember much else of it

its probably what everyone that remembers the first series to be, with adult themes which is probably what would make it a hit, whereas whatever their making now is obviously gonna be geared towards children and selling figures and playsets

What I know of the original Power Rangers cast is
Red Ranger - Jason, now doing gay porn apparently
Pink & Blue Ranger - Kimberly & Billy, married to each other
Black Ranger - Zack, no idea what happened to him
Yellow Ranger - Trini, died in a car crash in Japan I believe
Green/White Ranger - Tommy, played other Power Rangers in a few series, became a badass MMA fighter

Ooh, i wonder if Jason still wears his Red ranger costume and wears it while flming (you know, with gaps and holes here and there haha). Gotta admit, i did watch the original series way back in the day and see the original film, fuck knows why, but i did (something to do with being a young kid and it being the thing of the moment im guessing lol). I will most likely check out the new film on home release just out of sheer curiosity.

I have all 7 original Power Rangers figures, never kept the boxes sadly, but you don't think of that stuff when you're 6/7 years old, most of them are missing legs now though, I kept them in great condition for 20 years, gave them to my nieces & nephews to play with(BIG mistake) & they're broken
Have the Power Blaster in the bottom of my wardrobe
Along with the Thunder Megazord & the Tigerzord

lol i never thought when it came to toys, the value of them, especially when it came to my Ninja Turtle figures, Ghostbusters figures, and Power Ranger toys, i dont have any of them anymore, have a few wrestling figures left, not to mention the Funko pop vinyl figures
wonder how big the toy market for these end up being

Stumbled across this when I was online, a then & now of the original Power Rangers cast, some are still doing well for themselves
