  Power Rangers Time Force (2001-2002) was the last series that I was watching from time to time.
  After quick research I have noticed that they are farting new edition every 1-2y till this day, lol.
  I would assume by now that the format is long dead. How the hell do they get money to produce it anyway!?

  i think because power rangers have become an icon of sorts. it has been going for that long that most people know them so they just keep pumping them out.

  They've got ready made source material and the whole thing is corny and cheesy. It's all perfectly suited to kids.

  wow yeah so my childhood was gone when i watched this but i loved it so much and i hoped they would make a movie but that would never happen cos the film is a kids show at the end of the day, i mean thats the audience you cant get rid of that , good short film nonetheless!

  I wasn't a big fan of Power Rangers growing up but a lot of my friends were. I think the movie actually looks pretty good, although I can't say it really reminds of the original power rangers at all. Although with things being more modern, I guess that is to be expected.

  I'd be a little worried if that was reminiscent of the original Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. What with the drugs, the hookers and the exploding heads.
  
  It really shows how everyone would buy into a grim and gritty reboot of anything.

  Not sure if this is entirely genuine or not, but a picture of the suits for the upcoming Power Rangers reboot/film is citculating

  Honestly i'm not impressed by that look, they do look like multi coloured variations of Iron Man. Here's a quote from the article regarding the suits
  "translucent extraterrestrial armor that crystallizes around their bodies."
  Which sounds like a needless attempt at updating a simple concept while also trying to imitate another character
  
  The look of the villain looks a bit Mortal Kombat as well.

  I read this article about it last week actually, not long after posting the picture, this article says they're very Spartan from the Halo series

  I would kind of agree, they actually seem very Iron Man crossed with a bit of Spartan, look forward to seeing what & how they do to the weapons
  
  The Power Blaster was the original weapon & is still one of the best i'd say
  
  Elizabeth Banks as Rita Repulsa will be cool
  
  Look forward to how they do Alpha & Zordon, with such an evolution in technology since the original series aired in 1993

  i loved the "bootleg" version of power rangers when i saw it, actually looks like it will be a better movie than what they are gonna put out, just looks so much more gritty and entertaining, i dunno why they didnt make this film instead,
