SATURDAY
West Ham v Man City 12:45
Considering how well they've started you'd have thought the Hammers would have been a bit shorter than 5/1 for the win here. 6/4 on the double chance doesn't look too bad either. Aguero's the most likely scorer obviously, but at 6/4 you're paying for the privilege. Far better going with Sakho instead at 11/4. Plenty of goals either way I reckon, and 3.5+ is 11/8.
Prediction: 2-2 (16/1)
Liverpool v Hull
After 8 games both sides have scored 13 goals, which shows just how much Hull have improved, and Liverpool regressed, on last season. You'd have been delving in to the handicaps back then, but the best the Reds can probably hope for here is a scrappy one. The draw at 7/2 certainly looks a better bet than 4/9 on the home win anyway. Lambert might be worth a go in the any times, but he's 6/5 there, and Hull's Abel Hernandez is 7/2. Do that instead.
Prediction: 2-1 (15/2)
Southampton v Stoke
The biggest winning margin I can find for Southampton here is 7-0 (400/1). Odd. Nah, should be reasonably tight, so don't go any higher than the -1 handicap at 13/8. And lest we forget the Saints defensive record, they're 6/4 to win it to nil. Pelle in the scorers obviously, 7/2 for the first or EVS any time.
Prediction: 2-0 (13/2)
Sunderland v Arsenal
After last weekend... Draw, can just see it happening. Not like Arsenal are on fire themselves, is it? That's 11/4 outright, and with Welbeck 6/5 and Sanchez 11/8 any time, probably the pick of the bunch.
Prediction: 1-1 (13/2)
West Brom v Crystal Palace
The Baggies sort of look alright at the minute. 10/11 on the home win seems fair enough but they do love a draw, and that's 13/5. Take the latter along with Berahino 7/4 any time, one of them's bound to come off.
Prediction: 1-1 (6/1)
Swansea v Leicester 17:30
Swansea's form has dipped pretty alarmingly after that bright start, but Leicester haven't won in 3 either. The home side should have enough about them and 10/11 for the win looks a decent acca pick. Maybe the -1 at 23/10 too but that's possibly a touch optimistic. Sigurdsson's due a goal and at 5/2 any time you could do a lot worse.
Prediction: 2-1 (15/2)
SUNDAY
Burnley v Everton 13:30
Everton have improved lately, a bit, while Burnley seem to have gotten quite a lot worse. The away win's 4/5 and another with acca written all over it. You can get 7/5 on the Toffee's keeping a clean sheet too. Granted, they're defence has been pretty awful so far but not as bad as Burnley's attack. Lukaku in the scorers, but there's no fun with EVS any time. Go first goal at 7/2.
Prediction: 0-2 (8/1)
Tottenham v Newcastle 13:30
That West Brom game aside, Spurs are normally a safe bet when it comes to beating teams worse than them at home. Though seeing as they were playing in Europe Thursday night, steer clear of the handicaps and go to nil at 2/1. Goals; probably not many, and under 2.5 is 8/11, though if Lamela's finding a bit of form (looks as though he is) then back him in the any times at 5/2.
Prediction: 1-0 (15/2)
Man Utd v Chelsea 16:00
Have you seen anything this season to suggest United have got a chance here? Mourinho will have learned his lesson from giving them too much respect in this fixture last season, and the away win at 11/8 is a no-brainer. Having said that, the absence of Costa and Remy is a bit of a worry, so don't expect it to be emphatic. Without those two, Schurrle at 11/4 any time could be the Blues' best in the scorers. Di Maria's pretty long as well at 5/2. Decent opposition innit.
Prediction: 1-2 (9/1)
MONDAY
QPR v Aston Villa 20:00
Both are looking fairly rotten of late. Maybe a draw, maybe someone will sneak it, but with just 10 goals between them all season, under 1/5 at 7/4 is probably the one. If I had to pick a winner, I'd make sure I paired it up with 'to nil'. QPR are 5/2 there and Villa 4/1. Take your pick.
Prediction: 0-1 (8/1)
