When a Batwoman series was announced starring Ruby Rose, everyone seemed proper excited about it. Fuck knows why because I personally think she’s overrated as fuck. I mean yeah, she was ok in Orange is the New Black, but this brooding ‘I’m so cool’ bullshit she constantly does is just old now.

I’m clearly in the minority though, because everyone still seems to be sucking Ruby’s dick and she’s been getting movie and TV show offers left, right and centre. However, that might be about to change if this new Batwoman trailer is anything to go by, which looks like it’s been knocked together by Tommy Wiseau. Take a look:

What an absolute shitshow. It looks like it’s been made for kids. The dialogue’s got me cringing hard. That line “so I’ve got this thing with rules” made me shudder. Fans don’t seem too happy either as it’s been getting a bunch of thumbs down on YouTube. Here’s hoping Ruby Rose’s 15 minutes are finally over.

To be fair, it looks OK.

Apart from it buying into the current "Woman better than man" shit, that everyone's doing. If they left that out, it would have potential. But we all know they won't, they go overboard with it. They go full on Wonder Woman with the publicity and strong female character bullshit, instead of it just being a strong character that the DC fanboys and fangirls can get all giddy and excited about.

Oh and I agree, the brooding I'm so cool shit, is a tad annoying.

I went and looked at some of the comments for the trailer.

Oh boy, the fanboys and fangirls are not happy at all. From what I've seen, a lot of the truly bad comments are being deleted too. Coincidentally more than a few of the comments are on the same theme in my previous post. A lot of anti-sjw comments too.

I wonder if CW will look at the negative reception their trailer has received and make any adjustments.

Yeah, I'm wondering is they'll do a Sonic and rewrite a few bits. Although unless they're planning on scrapping half the cast, it might just remain unsalvageable.

I was thinking about this earlier and they won't change it.
They say anyone who doesn't like the trailer is mysoginistic, homophobic or anti-feminist. So they're opinions don't count, even though there are currently over 300 thousand of them disliking the trailer and youtube is starting to fill up with videos slaming the trailer.

Hitting the nail on the head there Friday. Welcome to modern society, we have decided to loop back round to ancient history where if your opinion differs from the message being forced upon you then you don't belong in society. Or as seems to be the case now people immediately throw around accusations as you mention and nothing can be said to save yourself
