  This is the first trailer for the upcoming Obi-Wan Kenobi series starring Ewan McGregor and directed by Deborah Chow. It's set 10 years after Episode Three: Revenge of the Sith. Hayden Christensen and Joel Edgerton will be back to reprise their roles from the prequel trilogy.

  OK before I start talking about each episode, I just want to say a massive FCUK YOU to everyone giving racist abuse to Moses Ingram. Sadly I'm not surprised after the racist and misogynistic abuse that Daisy Ridley, Kelly-Marie Tran and John Boyega got. I don't understand how Star Wars fans can moan and whinge about it being "woke" and being for "SJWs" when the original film was based on the idea of fighting against fascism, imperialism and colonialism. The villains of the entire thing are called The Empire and are designed to look like literal Nazis FFS.
  
  Episode one
  The opening scene with the Order 66 attack on the Jedi temple was cool. Seeing Obi suffering with the pain of what he did to Anakin was interesting, whilst he tries to oversee the protection of Luke. Young Leia is acted and written perfectly. I like how evil Reva is. Bringing back Smits and Edgerton is really good. Safdi and Flea's cameos were OK.
  
  Episode two
  Nanjani played his character perfectly. I liked the setting of this new planet, it felt like an East Asian metropolis. Reva is willing to do anything and everything to become grand inquisitor and get Obi.
  
  Episode three
  OMG. This was my favourite appearance of Vader since Rogue One. Chow directed this episode perfectly.

  I understand your criticisms Spiteful, I had to suspend my disbelief too. Given that it's a prequel to A New Hope we know Vader, Obi and Leia survive, so the dramatic tension isn't there. So all we can hope for is an emotional edge between the characters like Ahsoka and Vader's interactions on Rebels and Clone Wars.
  
  
  Episode four.
  Obi goes to the inquisitor headquarters to save Leia. Reva has a plan up her sleeve. Tana needs the help of the small beginnings of the rebel alliance.

  I've watched it and sofar it's been OK.
  As someone put it, it's been fun watching a broken Obi-Wan struggling with PTSD while trying to save Leia.
  
  The third sister though is more than a bit annoying.  They've spent a few years from what I've seen of the shows after the original trilogy making the Sith less of a group of angry shouty people and more of a smart devious evil.  But that character just seems to running around angry at everything and everyone, constantly in a petulant huff.
  
  
  I probably differ from most when it comes to the actors and actresses in the sequel trilogy though.  I think the only person who deserves to feel pissed of about how their character was shafted is Kelly-Marie Tran.  Important part in episode eight and almost non-existent episode nine.

  Episode five
  This might be my favourite one so far. The scene with Reva and Obi talking was great. Tala's scene was emotional. The Anakin and Obi flashback scene was very good. Haja and Roken returning was nice. Vader's display of his intelligence and power was fantastic, and why he's one of the greatest villains ever. Leia is amazing. The final episode looks like it'll tie the whole story together nicely.

  Episode six
  This was a solid conclusion to a very good story. McGregor was amazing as Obi and Chow was a brilliant director. Given that is was a prequel we already knew Obi, Luke, Leia, Owen, Beru and Vader would be fine physically. We just didn't know the mental toil they'd been through since Revenge of the Sith and A New Hope. The introduction of new characters like Reva, Roken, Haja and Tala were great, in the sense of showing how the fall of the Jedi, and the rise of the Empire effected everyone across the galaxy.
