  Looks like it's definitely happening then.
  
  It's a weird thing in Spain where every player's contract has to have a release clause inserted in to it.  They're generally set at such stupidly high levels that the chances of another club actually activating it are virtually non-existent.
  
  Neymar only signed a new deal last October and at that time £196m was plenty ridiculous enough.  But now we're in a situation where Lukaku's worth £90m, Swansea are turning down £45m for Sigurdsson and the bidding for a French teenager with just half a season of professional football under his belt starts at £120m.  
  
  Sort of seems like Barca have fucked up here really.  And £196m for someone who'll most likely be the best player in the world within the next 2-3 years could almost be seen as a bargain.

  I don't know how anyone can waste their time looking at such a fucking ridiculous story,why the fuck do we want to hear how much footballers are worth especially for so little skill compared to the people who turn up to see them and see the player play shit ? not one even deserves a mention and as for their wages yuk. Scotty you shouldn't be wasting your time writing this article but I know you like controversy so its expected.Just look at the pic and fucking wonder where will it all end.Oh yea I still watch, only cos tv allover is so shit and you cant always sunbathe in this country.

  Not often you find yourself agreeing with Jose Mourinho, is it?   But on this occasion he's talking mega sense.
  
  Here's what he had to say when asked about Neymar's £198m move to PSG.
  
  “When we signed Paul Pogba, I said he was not expensive. Expensive are the ones that get to a certain level without a certain quality.
  
  “I don’t think £200m for Neymar is expensive.
  
  “Expensive is the fact there will now be more players at £100m, more players at £50m, more players at £60m - that’s the problem.
  
  “Neymar is one of the best players in the world, so commercially that is very strong but the problem is not Neymar - the problem is the consequences.”
  
  You might still argue that the Pogba fee was 'expensive (based on last season's performances at least) but he's bang on otherwise.
  
  In other news, the potential world record deal was thrown in to doubt earlier today when La Liga officials refused to accept payment of the Brazilian's release clause.  Apparently they're concerned that PSG are breaking financial fair play rules with the deal.  Surely that's for UEFA to decide though, lads?  Banter.
  
  In summary, it's most likely still happening.

  PSG is like a step down in prestige... they haven't  even won the Champions League.
