  i think the critics are being too harsh, probably cause of the long wait for this film they were expecting something bigger which is true, this is why i try not to watch trailers or read any hype going into the movie cause you build up a certain expectation of the movie
  
  ive seen it twice, i enjoyed it, however a couple of my friends didnt like it, however their positives was that despite it being bad the acting was really good.

  See, while its always a hope that there will be some great acting ability shown in films of this nature, its not always the be all and end all for me. As long as im entertained i can forgive some dodgy acting. I come not to expect oscar quality acting in a Zack Snyder film but damn, his films are so damn entertaining regardless. Speaking of as im meant to be seeing BvS next weekend im gonna rewatch Man of Steel this evening. Havnt watched it again since its initial home release, should set me up nicely for next weekend.

  Downloaded & watched this on Saturday night, not really sure about it though, there were some good & bad bits, must say Jesse Eisenberg's portrayal of Lex Luthor was good, took insanity to a whole new level
  
  Gal Gadot was sexy as hell
  
  Not sold on Ben Affleck & Jeremy Irons as Batman & Alfred respectively, I maintain Michael Caine should have been Alfred, and i'm 100% sure there was a better choice than Ben Affleck for Batman, not sure what my thoughts are on Henry Cavill as Superman, Man of Steel wasn't exactly his best film

  I saw this on Saturday and thought it was a good film. I thought it was a bit slow in some places but overall the film was pretty good. As a comic fanboy and expert i was wondering how well it would stick to comic storyline considering this film is basically a set up for the Justice League movie but it stuck to comics quite well actually. Also is it just me or does anybody else get the feeling that Darkseid is going to villain in the Justice League movie.

  Outlaw1987, i agree with you about alfred, he just seemed really out of place in this movie, however i think Ben Afflect didnt do a bad job as Batman, probably needs his own film before i can properly judge him as a Batman, however he was better than Clooney and Val Kilmer lol

  As promised i finally went too see Batman v Superman yesterday. My verdict : i enjoyed the film but it wasnt as awesome as i had hoped, preffered Man of Steel if im being honest. That first hour or so really dragged for me with, too be honest, not a great deal happening. See what the critics meant about the story hopping all over the place. Ben Affleck's batman..i liked his fighting style and didnt dislike his performance but it didnt totally gel with me. Wonder Woman was sorely underused, fortunatly though when she was used she did a bang up job. Jessie Eisenbergs Lex, while i didnt hate his performance (he improved as the film went on), didnt really rate him against previou Lex's (Michael Rosenbaum all the way). In the early going i found the film very plodding and really wasnt a fan of how Supermans feats part way through were nothing but glimpses or brief flashes (the rocket, the flood etc...). For me, this was at its best when it was all kicking off.

  Every review ive watched after the film has mentioned they wish they had cast the guy who plays Barry Allen in the tv show, as the Flash in the DC movie universe
  
  i understand why they made the film the way they did, they had to establish the justice league characters for a pending movie but, they should have included that at the end of the film like a small moment after the credits
  
  the thing that got me was, they should have made the fight or the batman superman encounters a bit more, like when it comes down to it, the film is called batman vs superman but they didnt really fight all that long

  The long awaited fight (and it does does feel does feel as though it takes a fair while to get there) , while entertaining enough wasn't anywhere near the spectacle I was hoping for. Seemed a little plodding and half hearted. Although the films climactic fight was a child fest, at least action wise it was big, loud, flash and basically tore the screen apart. Reading ab article where snyder talks justice league supposedly it's gonna be a lot lighter in tone than MoS and BvS. Not to light in tone I hope.

  i dunno why they didnt just release this version of movie instead of the one they gave us a couple of months ago! apparently this version of the movie takes it over the 3 hour mark, ive already pre ordered it on blu ray on amazon

  Ive been keeping an eye out for an official release date for 'BvS' but as of yet its all speculation. Think it was being lined up for a july release but that has been denied. Supposedly someone involved in the film, not sure if in the making or at Warner Bros, has said despite the added bits that the ultimate edition will bring apparently it wont do anything to appease the theatrical releases critics. Thats up to them, i enjoyed the film (despite the plodding first hour)..am gonna be all over this on release.
