  ok, one last clue.. the first name of the main charcter is that of John Waynes real first name, it's a film from 1986, has a wicked soundtrack, and has a baddie called the Night Slasher..

  OK, Ill put yuz out of your misery, the character name was Marion Cobretti, and it was Cobra played by Stallone. I thought the You're the disease, I'm the cure quote would have given it away.. also starring Brigitte Nielsen surprise surprise..
  If you don't get this one, then I must believe I am in fact inside a matrix like world and the only real human being in existence... lol
