  to be fair the only reason i even remembered that is because they've shown it a few times on tv recently and so whatever channel it was kept showing ads for it all the time, otherwise i wouldn't have got it so easily lol

  there's no need to keep quiet, you had the right answer in your post, you just made a point of saying you weren't guessing that otherwise i would of given it to you, all you had to do was post again saying desperado and you'd have got it lol

  I'm gonna have a guess at the fast and the furious. This could be wrong as I can't seem to get any of these. Just the refernce to a quarter mile makes me think that thats what it is.

  i knew someone was going to guess that, as the line "i live my life a quarter mile at a time" is in that film, but the quote i posted is actually from a different film.

  I'd a feeling it was was'nt going to be the fast and the furious. Have no idea now though. Is it from a similiar type of film or am I in the wrong genre completely?

  yeah it's pretty much the same type, and chances are if you've seen fast and furious then there's more chance of you having seen what the quote is from than if you're the sort of person who'd never watch fast and furious

  Is that from Gone in 60 seconds?
  That isn't exactly a confident guess, i think it is, but i'm not entirely sure been a while since i've seen that film, and also based on your comment about it being a film you're more likely to have seen if you've seen fast and the furious.
