Episode eight
In the present, we return to a place from the past in an attempt to rectify something but it has unfortunate consequences. In the past, the group struggle dealing with outside forces.

Episode nine
In the present, the group is separated in different places and all of them are searching for answers to various questions. In the past, a journey is planned to a new location where the stakes are high and the perils are unknown. And we're taken to a new place in time where some unexpected news is revealed.

Episode ten - season one finale
In the present, the group need to work together in order get out of their current situation but there are a couple of titan sized obstacles in the way. Once they've overcome those issues at a heavy cost, they are then presented with new information that they did not expect, in a time and place they were not expecting either.

This is a pretty great TV show, and it ties in nicely with my favourite film of the recent Hollywood Kaiju franchise; Kong Skull Island. The casting of the Russell's as the young and older versions of the same character is genius and should be done more often instead of the current trend of CGI de-aging that rarely looks good. The young cast are good, especially Anna Sawai.
