  i can't see them changing powers every series, especially as they've only done it once in three series so far. as far as the episodic/series story arc i think misfits has got it about right as most episodes are mainly episodic but they do also have parts which relate to the overall story. i think when a series just goes one way or the other they have problems as purely episodic mean there's no real danger etc... and just a series story means you quite often end up with a few really boring episodes where not much happens.
  
  i would be surprised if there weren't boxsets available at the very least i would think the first series must be out by now, i'd check amazon if i were you.

  You can get the boxsets yes, because i`ve got them,
  you can get both the first series and second series either seperate or as one bigger boxset,
  and the series 2 set has also got the christmas special on there,
  and some of the extras are funny as well, simons films for example.

  dis bird is stunning, i wanna talk to her, wen is she next on? she is prob one of my favourites atm, but then agen dey do change quite often, da things i wod do to her maaan, she is stunning, and dat ass is enuf to make me cream by looking at it

  Has everyone heard the news that they're planning on a american remake of misfits, i have mixed feelings about it because alot of the remakes of english shows tend to be a bit bad,
  having said that i did enjoy the american shameless so they can turn out good.

  What did everyone think of the latest episode?
  i liked it, it was entertaining and the storyline with seth is finally expanding you could tell they were going somewhere with him from the start of the series and the bits from the next episode look good a good setup in this one,
  it does seem a bit odd that they have sidelined the superhoodie time travel story almost entirely past few episodes.

  I have been watching it on catch up and i am seriously enjoying it... I never really watch programmes like this. Does get quite confusing at some parts though

  after tonight's episode i'm really not sure what i thought of it, i don't want to give spoilers so i will try my best to stay as vague as possible
  
  i thought it was a very good story and i liked how everything was sort of explained etc... but at the same time i'm not sure with the things that happened if the next series will be as good or if there even will be another series as there wasn't any sort of "misfits will be back....." after the episode so maybe that was the final of the series and the final series?
  
  the one thing i did find myself thinking though is it would be awesome if just once we got to see a proper big fight type scene, i know misfits isn't really like that and tbh it wouldn't fit in with the rest of show but i can't help thinking that seeing simon more so than the others really kicking some ass would be awesome

  I liked the last episode, i think it was a good end to that particular part of the story, and i think that simon in particular could easily come back into the series, due to the fact that he may have got other powers previously unmentioned before in the past.
  They could continue the series still, obviously they will have to introduce some new characters and start off a new main plot focus.

  i did like the episode a lot and i agree it was a good end but i honestly can't see anyway of simon being in the next series. i mean we know what eventually happens to him in the past and we also know what happens to the "current" for lack of a better word version of him and i don't think he could have gotten a different power as he needs the one he got so that his gf can touch him. i do hope they find some way of getting him back as i think the show would suffer from not having simon, nathan or alisha in it, although they did say in the actual episode at the end that simon/alisha wouldn't be back
  
  i know they can continue the series i just wasnt sure if it was actually going to or not because as i said they normally say "whatever program will be back whenever" when a series ends so it made me wonder if there would be any more or maybe they've just not finalised/filmed the next series

  You`re not gonna like this news then, the actress that played alisha and the actor that played simon have both officially left the series so them characters are not coming back at all,
  the next series could still be good though depends on how they write it and what new characters they bring in.
