  honestly i it is 6 years too late. they both are past their prime. I think manny pacquiao would win the fight. Mayweather had a lot of trouble when he was fighting Maidana. however then fight he did control the game much better than the first fight, but Maidana did mange to stun him once. Manny is much quicker and i don't think he can handle the speed and power of manny. Overall i think its gonna be a awesome fight.
  
  If Mayweather loses do you think his going to retire or come back for a rematch?

  I am sure that they both have rematch clause put in their contracts. With all of the hype and expectations that this fight generates no doubt it's going to happen sooner or later. I wouldn't even be surprised if first or second rematch is going to end as a reattainment fight for both of them.
  But first. Lets see if this confrontation is going to live up to the expectations. Closer to fight I am having more and more doubts...

  Those are also the reasons why I think Mayweather will lose aj. Judging on the maidana fight he was able to hit mayweather alot and Pac is so much quicker than him so I have no doubt he'll be able to make some good connections with mayweathers jaw. However I'm not sure if he has as much power as maidana so he might not be able to knock him down with one punch but definitely with a flurry

  Shame it's happend to late 6 years ago would have been one of the best fights however my money is on mayweather he looks in better shape then pacquiao

  Mayweather done a weigh in for the fight to see where he is at and he weighs 150 pounds so just 2 pounds of the weight limit of 148. Question for you guys at welterweight who do you think hits harder out of the two? considering Manny only has 1 knockout at 148 whereas Mayweather has 3 i think, I'm unsure now that i found that out

  Mayweather is, of course, a master of the defensive game. You don't go 47 fights unbeaten without being able to avoid getting hit. However, Mayweather's lack of movement around the ring in recent fights will give him some concern heading into the big showdown.
  Marcos Maidana was able to give Mayweather a lot of trouble in their clashes by throwing a barrage of punches, leaving Mayweather little time to recover

  like you said over five years late and if it had taken place back then around the pac v hatton time or even better around the morralles. barrera fights then id go pac by ko inside 8.
  But its not then and pacquiao isnt the same freak off nature these days, it could be the renewed faith he has now or all the distractions in his life ,being a senator is not the kind of 2nd job you would expect from a possible GOAT. but pac is not a normal guy.
  
  So IMO its a gonna be an anti climax with floyd taking it by 9 rounds to 3 with pac getting pot shotted all night.
  
  Still wouldnt miss this fight for anything. ONLY 8 WEEKS 2 DAYS TO GO.

  Tickets apparently were sold out in less than 60 seconds from going on sale which is incredible, and its 10 dollars for tickets to see the weigh in with all proceeds going to charity which i think is a nice touch. Ricky Hatton is of the opinion that mayweather will win the fight, I find that interesting being the way pac knocked him out, I fought he would lean more towards pac

  In a very one sided fight Mayweather completely dominated Manny in what as for me a big surprise. Not the fact that mayweather won, just the fact at how easy it was for him, at some points it seemed like he was toying with him. I'm disappointing in Manny because i expected a lot more from him, before the fight they were talking about throwing 100 punches a round but didn't get anything close to that number
