  So who takes the poisoned chalice next? A caretaker seems odd when Zidane is a free agent. The club are in a mess. They have lost their fear factor. So many younger fans got used to endless victories under Slur Alex and cannot comprehend not being top dogs anymore. They need a clear out of lazy players first and bring in some young talent and build from the ground up. If De Gea now jumps they will be lucky to finish top half. Personally I think Mark Hughes could do a great job.

  Zidane now would make sense, that it isn't happening would suggest they'll be making moves on Pochettino at the end of the season.
  
  Reckon Real Madrid are having similar ideas though.  And he'll probs go there.

  If Spurs have any sense they will tell Man U to take a hike. They are no longer the mega club...Madrid, Barca, City, Juve, PSG all seem to have more pulling power on the player front. No CL qualification will mean even more transfer disappointments. And how much are they going to write off on Lukaku and Sanchez?

  Well yeah, or Pochettino might do it himself, and go Real Madrid instead. 
  
  Moving from Spurs to United really isn't an obvious choice any more, and a lot of clubs have caught up, but they're still a big enough deal to compete for players and trophies.  Just need to get organised.
  
  As for Lukaku and Sanchez; add Pogba, Fred, Bailly, Lindelof (...) to that list.  Maybe they'll all get good again now Mourinho's gone?

  I hope Potch stays at Spurs. And Zidane goes somewhere else. Munich perhaps? That would leave Man United with a headache.

  I really dont see ManUtd really getting a result in Paris, but thats looking forward, also dont think they will get a result against Liverpool, possibly 2-1 Liverpool taking the win
