  there saying LVG failure to get champions league football is about a £100m loss to the club theres no way he is staying at the end of the season,
  
  wonder the what if factor if the bs that happened on sunday didnt happen, how much of a factor would that had on both games going on simultaneously would of had on the results of the mancity swansea game and the united borne game (that sounds like a borne movie)

  3-1 win, another dissapointing season, however the only positive being a good cup run, so thats something to look forward to this weekend,
  
  positives is the the progress of Martial, Rashford, Lingard,
  negatives: can we say everything else? id say defence its obvious the defense has let us down this year, being unable to consistently field a first choice defense mainly due to injury has been a major factor this season, really suprised ManUtd didnt try to buy defenders in the january transfer window, could of salvaged points

  The defence?! You conceded 35 in 38 games, that's the joint best record in the league! Would have been a few more were it not for De Gea's heroics, granted, but the issues were clearly further up the field.
  
  Which brings me on to Lingard. Decent player no doubt, and he's definitely progressed this year, but I can't help but feel that he's only really stood out because of the dross around him. No way good enough for a title challenge.

  alot of that was De Gea brillance, we shouldnt be a squad that relied on Carrick and Blind as centre backs, Smalling came along way this season and stood out in a crocked defense,
  
  missed out on Hummels etc, im hoping ManUtd do move for Laporte to boost their defense,
  
  i agree lingard is a good player, he was playing without the pressure normal young players get at ManUtd, like their was none of that critism that Memphis was getting, so that was to his advantage,

  thats very true, been trying not to do this but i have been playing the what if game.
  
  think the nail in the coffin in our season was when they turned up late for the Spurs game, and got smashed 3-0, didnt help when we turned up late again to west ham a few weeks ago and threw that game away also
