  Di Maria, didn't really set the world on fire last year, but he definitely is good enough. I would like him to stay another year to be honest, i think he would eventually settle into the way of things. But alas, doesn't seem like that's going to happen. Ole Adnan could be getting a few more games then

  di Maria was supposed to fly out to our tour base last night but didn't get on the plane. He can get fucked as far as i'm concerned. No qualms with selling him to PSG for the reported £46.5m. Get Pedro in at ~£20m and it's a great bit of business no matter how great di Maria's first 6 or so games were

  From the reports I've read he's concerned for his family's safety, especially after the break in and I also read that they have had trouble settling anyway. Add the break in to the mix and it's pretty understandable. If the proposed move is to do right, I'm not mad at him for it. I agree with you on this though Potato, to move him and bring in Pedro for half the price is tidy business all the way around.

  
  
  Thing with the whole robbery thing is Paris is hardly immune from it. Heck, Matuidi had someone break into his house just a few months before di Maria's!

  Dont understand how unprofessional di maria is being , if he wants to leave , he really should tell van gaal then again who knows whats actually going on, bbc seem to be saying its pretty close well laurent blancs said it, surely another seasons worth a shot with him?

  Nowhere is immune from it, but he feels his family needs a change of scenery and we forget how important a factor they are. Hasn't RVP's son also joined Fenerbache with him? Family matters. It's a shame about Matuidi's house though and you're right potato, it hardly sets a good precedent for Di Maria.
  
  However, if his heart isn't it, he should probably go. I feel it's somewhat premature as I think he can really grow and progress in a United shirt and in the Premier League but what will be will be...

  
  
  Odd that you'd bring van Persie's son into it when a) it's hardly the same thing and b) he didn't even play for our academy, he was at City's!
  
  And by all means, if his heart isn't in it then yes, leaving is the correct decision. But that's not my issue. My issue is that he's dealt with it horrendously and has treated the club like crap.

  I seen that van gaal isn't staying after his three year contract. Which surprises me, you would think that for signings he would atleast let on he's committed. United have also signed goalkeeper Romero. And Van gal is saying that he wants a pacy creative forward. With he being linked to Ronaldo? Maybe the idea all along was De Gea plus money for Ronaldo. This was all speculation on Sky this morning.

  Also, If Di Maria wants away, he should be allowed to leave. If you don't settle you don't settle, I can only imagine how much of a change it would be to move country on your own let alone with family, though moving to another new country doesn't seems like a solution. But still if he wants away move on and get someone new in

  While obviously Ronaldo is still amazing and would command a massive fee, he is 30, and if De Gea is part of the deal, i don't know maybe the fee they get for Di Maria? Is that rumoured to be 46 or something. It's a lot of money for a player at 30. But with image rights and shirt sales they'd make that back in a blink. I think I remember when Beckham went the other way there was a report saying that Real made back the money spent on him through shirt sales and whatever else in the first year or something.

  Im sure van gaals aim will try and bring ronaldo before he leaves united , hes already said hes building a team to restart emerging man united back into dominance , the thing is real dont need to sell him , buyout clause is ridiculously high and his contract has a few more years, looks like de gea will leave though considering romeros come in

  Who would you rather have though, Ronaldo for a couple of years or De Gea for the rest of his career (however unlikely that really would be). I think, while De Gea is incredible, I think overall United would be a better team with better outfield and good goalkeeper, rather than Brilliant goalkeeper and decent outfield, if you get me
